This is truly a family-run business! The owner was assembling onigiri while her two young kids were playing cashier and literally calling order numbers for us! LOLQuite a popular food stall among the many at Little Italy Mercato. I got a Salmon Mayo onigiri (rice ball) as a snack before lunch. Pretty tasty! It comes warm since it's fresh, so definitely eat it ASAP. They also have pre-made ones for a quick pick up. They don't skimp on the salmon and it wasn't overly creamy from the mayo. A nice little pick-me-up.

Absolutely love love love this spot! The rice balls are always fresh and delicious. The mother and daughter who run the business are the absolute sweetest. They do sell out fast so make sure you're at the market early! It is also only the two/three of them so please be patient!

This place was pretty busy on Saturday at the Little Italy farmers market. I didn't notice a line until after I ordered. It took about 15 minutes to put together my food so maybe just take a walk for a few after you order.I got the spicy tuna hand roll. The flavor was good but it was too much rice to spice tuna in my opinion. The little girls running the cash register were super cute and friendly.

Onigiris made with care and gentleness from the lady herself comes Mi'So Hungry! Her stand was the only one I got to visit upon my trip to the Wednesday's farmers market in Little Italy. The lady at the stand was organized, friendly, calm, and was making all the orders solo! My friends told me this was her last day at the farmer's market until next year, and I'm super glad I got to try one of these little rice balls. They were small, but perfect size for a quick snack. It did hold me down for lunch and the spicy salmon was full of flavor and was nice and flakey. She told me I ordered the last Spicy Salmon apparently, so I was very glad with my choice. You do need a bit more patience when it comes to ordering and then waiting for your order, but you can tell she makes each one with a lot of care. I'll be back to visit next year!

Got one Salmon Mayo and it was good! $7 for one piece which is kinda pricey but I know it's the farmers market. Tasty but not sure I'd get again because of the price.

Family run business! They are fast and freshly made. Their spicy salmon was the first item to sell out but their unagi tuna mayo were good! They can be found at farmer markets and will post on their IG (misohungry2021) their location and hours for the week!

August Stop 9Came by their stand at the San Diego Little Italy Farmer's Market! Such a cute stall with a mother and her young daughter! The mother takes the orders, makes the food, and hands out the food; it really is a tiring operation! We got the spicy tuna onigiri and it was very unique! Definitely a great tasting onigiri that stands boldly on its own flavors. Would highly recommend!

Hand rolls are to die for. We got the BBQ and the spicy tuna. The seasonings were on point. The rice was perfectly sticky and sweet, and the seaweed finish was perfection. Chef's kiss.
