Mi Mexico

The ambiance in this restaurant is pretty incredible, it doesn't look that's crazy outside but it's like a castle inside it's crazy. I ordered takeout and it took about 16 minutes which I think is great. I ordered the 2 Enchiladas with chicken and it was delicious great rice and beans. The service was great the lady at the front was very helpful with the menu and recommended some great food. She also was very friendly and asked how the new year was going!!

Wonderful surprise!We pulled in from I 5.Cute inside, staff super friendly!They were familiar with gluten free needs.We had red snapper tacos that were amazing!

We had a group of 10 people, good food good service! Plenty of room, Colorful decor. A short walk from our hotel; I would eat here again soon!

My girl and I went for dinner for 1st time and right away we were blown away by the great customer service being greeted walking in, felt like we were transported to Mexico, beautiful restaurant, started with chips salsa and ULTIMATE MARGARITAS, they were perfect (had 2) I had the avocado tostadas and enchilada combo, was huge fresh and delicious, my girl had the steak & shrimp fajitas, she liked them, great portions, she said shrimp was a little over cooked but nothing to complain about. We will definitely be going back

The restaurant is for no one. The drinks are terrible mixer drinks. A fresh/no mixer margarita is super easy to make but every drink included it. I asked if they make margarita without a mix and he said no. The food is bland and plated without any care. The only good thing on the plate was the refried beans. Everything seems to be made with the same ingredients. I know Jim Gaffigan made a joke about Mexican restaurants dishes being basically the same thing but Mexican Mi takes that stereotype as a mission statement. They serve guacamole in a Molcajete but it clearly isn't made in it. As for guacamole, let's not speak of it.The wait and host staff are very nice but work like they are bored out of their mind. When you talk to them, they take a few seconds to wake up.

Mi Mexico has been great until the last 3 times we went. The food used to be amazing but it's been really inconsistent. One order I get 2.5oz of carne asada and the next time I got 4.9oz of carne asada. If you are watching what you eat then you can't count on them because you never know what quantity you will get. Tonight was the deal breaker. Ordered Camarones Mojo De Ajo. It says it comes in a garlic sauce so I assumed the red liquid with tons of minced garlic was the sauce but I was wrong. It was massive quantities of grease with flavorless minced garlic. The shrimp was overcooked and both the shrimp and mushrooms had zero taste. I had all three of us eating have have fork full of the minced garlic and none of us tasted anything. It was not seasoned at all! The only good thing about the meal was the beans. Did I call the manager and complain? No. I don't want my food remade and I ate what I could so they don't need to refund me. I used to go here once a week but never again.

It's too bad. I wanted to like this place. The ambiance is nice. The service was nice. But the food is bland. The chips taste like it was old oil. The green sauce has no flavor. I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The chicken looked good and healthy. But the sauce and beans and rice were 2 stars My husband had chicken mole. He thought it was 3 stars. It's not good enough to return here.

I love the food here, the portions are just right, and the food is fresh and hot. The staff is very nice, and the menu here is huge. It is a casual place, they have a bar in the rear, and I like their margaritas.

Great go to when we're in this area. We always make a point of eating here whether we're in town for vacation or just down to shop. The portions are huge, consider sharing or just save the leftovers for lunch!By the way, I love the margaritas they are delicious!

Mi Mexico has an attractive menu with a good selection of Tex-Mex dishes and good variety of items. Their combination plates had all the needed variety and considerable flexibility. We visited Mi Mexico for lunch on a snowy day and there were few customers. We were warmly welcomed and given chips and salsa, water, and menus. The server arrived quickly and took our orders. I had a small combination with chili Ellen and enchilada, rice and beans and slaw. My wife had a two taco combination. The food came quickly and tasted good. The sauces had variety but perhaps needed a little more flavor. We enjoyed our lunch and the price was less than $30. We will come back if we pass through Burlington again as the food was better than the several Mexican restaurants we have tried in Bothell.
