This review is for the self serve poke bar and "the cookie".I was eager to try the poke bar after seeing some videos online. The poke was fresh and delicious but on the pricier side. I enjoyed being able to choose my portion size and mix and match the poke options. I would recommend skipping on the rice, it was not worth it- very weird stale like consistency and since you are paying by weight, I'd go with just poke and seaweed salad next time. "The cookie" is simply wonderful and I recommend visiting the met market just for this cookie! I've brought out of town visitors and they've all agreed that it's the best cookie ever.

I love a really nice grocery store like a mommy loves a daddy right before baby making season. This place is fantastic. From the hot bar to the home goods to that naughty cookie, it's amazing. The service is typically pretty good too.

Came here often for the cookies, would definitely recommend getting a stash of cookies from here if you're craving some! The touch of walnuts to a classic chocolate chip cookie is a game changer and adds that extra uniqueness from other cookies in the Seattle area

Impeccably organized grocery store with the most delicious chocolate chip cookies! I really enjoy shopping for my groceries here, the store is super organized and has high quality products. I've bought fresh peonies from here and they turned out amazing. The cookie is really worth the hype--similar to Levain cookies from the East coast but not as dense. Be aware that the prices are higher than typical stores here. The self checkout machines are EXTREMELY sensitive so be sure to place the items on the weight counter otherwise the machine starts yelling at you. This along with the security around the door can make people uneasy.

I'm obsessed with this place. It gives Whole Foods but the hot food blows them out of the frickin water. I was romanced by the deli guy and it made my entire week. Plus the place is just laid out really well and has a massive selection. I'm super impressed and wish I had places like this around where I live

Yes, they had it and I acquired it today. I bought myself a $300 bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne or as Quentin would say " FU@KING CRISTAL " for when that moment is special. The Metropolitan Market has an amazing selection of spirits to choose from along with beer for those troglodyte's who drink it.Now if your needing some flesh well the butcher cuts of some of the finest meats for your carnivore desires. However my two favorite items are the PRIME RIB SANDWICH & The COOKIE! The cookie is a large chocolate chip cookie served hot most of the time yet always chewy and delicious. It's time to pop cork on my CRISTAL after I chill it for 24 hours. Ladies make sure your men treat you to a bottle!

The Met market is one of those Seattle spots that every local holds close to their chest. If you are able to check it out early enough in the day, check out their bakery's chocolate chip cookies. These cookies rival levain's bakery in New York. As a New Yorker and a diehard levain's fan, I'll give it to the market, these cookies are good! They are a firm and have a good balance between crispiness and doughiness whereas levain's chocolate chip cookies are notably for the gooey cookie lovers. All in all, the met market's bakery is definitely worth a try with their fresh options. Calm and beautiful atmosphere, and continuously great service!

Before heading to Messina Modern Italian Kitchen for a delicious dinner get-together, I needed to pick up some flowers so found myself at Met Market. There is a great selection of locally sourced produce and grab-and-go items, including sandwiches (the grinder and chicken caesar wrap are good), a selection of hot soups, and a hot foods line. They also have a small coffee bar, salad bar, and bakery section. I love the home section - there's a mix of kitchenware, unique gifts, candles, and adorable stationary. Even though it might cost a bit more than your typical run to Trader Joe's, the quality and diversity of goods are worth it.

Title: Disappointing Experience, Unprofessional StaffI visited Metropolitan Market in Sammamish today, and unfortunately, my experience was incredibly negative. I had high hopes for a quick grocery run and a bite for my son after his lacrosse practice. We ordered a prime rib sandwich, only to discover it contained horseradish mayonnaise, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. The staff at the deli counter were unhelpful and argumentative when we asked for a remake. Their response, especially towards my son with allergies, was disappointing. Even after showing them the menu with no mention of mayonnaise, they continued to argue. To make matters worse, when I sought a refund for the subpar sandwich, I was confronted by Kimberly, who aggressively questioned whether I had paid for my groceries. It was an embarrassing and uncomfortable encounter until I requested a manager, only to find out Kimberly was one. No apology was given for the false accusations. Finally, the deli manager stepped in, genuinely apologized for the unfortunate experience, and offered to remake the sandwich at no cost. Her professionalism was a stark contrast to the rest of the staff, and it somewhat salvaged the situation.Overall, the staff at Metropolitan Market in Sammamish mishandled the situation, creating a series of unpleasant events. The lack of attention to allergies, unprofessional behavior, and false accusations make it impossible to give more than one star.

the rudest staff anywhere. even the self checkout person taking care of customers was super bitchy & super rude. MM is so much better in West Seattle. I will never go to this MM AGAIN! Staff all act like it's annoying to take care of customers
