Metropolitan Market

Their food was good for the first few times which was a few months ago. It really went downhill for the last few times. The poke was over salty and there were not enough food coming out. One night there was no hot food, and they said they were short of staff. Sometimes they have chefs making stir fry, sometimes they don't... too inconsistent. I prefer PCC.Three stars is for my overall journey there.

This location @ WEST SEATTLE~METROPOLITAN MARKET is handsdown, without a doubt, ****10 out of 10 STARS !!!!!! This is thee most badass metropolitan market that I have ever been to; And I've been to a FEW!! All across the country, let alone the state of WA'!And this one SLAPS!!!!EVERY Department is THE BEST Department here!! The deli is the shiat... bomb soups... hot case items...The bakery is the shiat... Produce section has bomb veggies...Fruit sections got bomb selection...The wine section's got a huge ass variety of wines... Seafood section has fresh and delicious seafood, along with knowledge staff, who can recommend whatever is freshest and best, along with advice on how to prepare it, including some crazy ass recipe; ...that you happen to try, and it turned out like you were at a five star restaurant...when really you were in your kitchen, Speechless w/ what you prepared, .... like.. who hijacked my body.. and my kitchen... and made this phylum phenomenal meal....!?!? Like, "how the eff did I do this!?" ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍....Yeah.....‍‍‍ Muh Phukkin Magic happens @Metropolitan Market!!!!

Haters will say Met Market is expensive but when eggs were pushing $8-$9 at some grocers Met Market kept it real with eggs for $3.99 per dozen. Love Met Market. Great produce, quality seafood, nice curated wine selection.

Amazing!!!! Just amazing. Not all metropolitan markets are created equal. Really, they are all different. Most have that overpriced items, meats, wine, organic produce. But this one might be the best. Mainly because of how busy/ big/ bustling their hot food bar is! Pizza bar???! Yes!! Prime rib bar? Yes! Sandwiches, salads, pasta! French fries station??! Yes. It's like a mini Amsterdam replica too. With a cone and curry sauce option. And pizzas! Flat squares like how us Italians do. Or Italian delis! Feels so home. And it's a maze here. Cheese section is huge. Also their salami/ prosciutto counter! The nuts! The fruits. Just so many choices. I even bought a $10 -$15 marshmallow.. do I need them?? No. But they were pretty!!Saturday's they have 2 slices of pizza for $7. It's pretty good. And Sundays which I'll never make it day: since it's a 40 minutes drive each way to get here: they have half off pizza pan! Half a pan for $15.99 which is 10 slices. I'll never make it. Nor do I need 10 slices. But it sounds good. Bonus: it's across the street from Baci's new grooming spot. Now I get to stroll here for a good hour or two while he gets groom for 4 hours. Not bad at all. How else would I have found out about fancy marshmallow or their expansive salami bar! Just feels so home.

They are my favorite market a little high price, but everything is worth it from fresh vegetables to a delicious bakery and everything in between

One of the very best sandwiches out there.Meat is super soft and juicy.It comes with an au ju (think that's how you spell it)It's simply delicious.If you're really looking to treat yourself, take THE cookie home with you too!

This market is nice. The employees are very friendly. We got a cake here from the counter and I wouldn't recommend it. We got a white cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. The cake was very dense and was close to tasting like cornbread. The icing had no flavor. We had 6 of us that ate the cake and rated it a 6 and one person said the icing was a 5 or less. It was very disappointing because it was such a beautiful designed cake.

If you've never been in a Metropolitan Market before, it's a higher end ($$$$) grocery store that really knows how to create awesome heat & eat foods and can save you from having to cook for yourself for a long period of time. Definitely fantastic for a quick lunch if you're looking to have a little picnic or if you work in the area. I find myself in a good amount of trouble in the pre-made section and it's the main reason I like to come here.They also serve as a regular grocery store with a very nice selection of premium products and you're likely to find those hard-to-find or new-to-you items that are more expensive, but you know you want to!

If the Double Tree Hotel and Levain Bakery cookies had a baby and it only got the good parts, that is this cookie! Like who would've thought one of the best chocolate chip cookies could be found in this local grocery store! We are huge fans and wish we had a metropolitan market back home! We will definitely be back! This West Seattle location was easy to go to, ample parking, and very clean!

Great store. The employees are all very personable. All deserve recognition but special thanks to Kathy and Tamara at checkout and the folks in seafood and the meat department. My wife always comes home with a nice story of how someone made us a fresh batch of carne asada when they were out. It's people like this that make us love shopping there! The produce is always fresh. I don't think I've ever had a bad piece of fruit from there.
