Superb poke bar. My only wish is that they served the rice hot and sticky as sushi rice should be served alongside poke.
Clearly states they are open 6am - 11pm but they actually close at 9:00pm Sun - Thurs they just rather lie than be real and tell the truth.

The self checkout is closed and they don't manage their lines well when it's busy. Kind of disappointing.

This is the charcuterie Mecca of Seattle. Cheeses, dried and smoked slice meats and olives from across the globe. Good luck finding a better prosciutto selection anywhere. Fresh made sushi, coffee and sandwiches. Good selection of alcohol.

This review is specifically for the produce: I come to Metro Market because I live nearby and it's presented as a "nice upscale market" but in reality I am constantly disappointed by their produce.EVERY SINGLE TIME I get produce there (I really mean every single time) I come home and produce is old and spoiled the next day. For a place that is that expensive and brands itself as a upscale market, they really don't put much effort into having fresh produce. So frustrating and disappointing.

I've been to this grocery store many times, since it's by far the closest grocery store to my house. Customer service here is consistently well above average. The cheese, olive, chocolate, packaged snacks, and produce sections are all excellent. This grocery store makes fresh mozzarella balls daily! They're amazing!!Selection is pretty sparse for pre-packaged meals. Deli is sub-par, especially compared to the delis at some of the other Met Market locations. Bakery is not great, not awful - they have some really good gluten-free options, but the options overall are somewhat limited.Smaller than the other Met Markets. The floral section is quite good. This store keeps up with holidays and stocks fun holiday selections for the 4th of July, Halloween (amazing variety of pumpkins available this year!), etc.I don't feel like I can go to this store for my weekly big grocery shopping trip, due to the somewhat limited selection overall and the fact that several basic items are way overpriced. However, it's a great place to pick up snacks, flowers, gluten-free muffins, kombuchas, cheese, chocolate, olives, packaged snacks such as chips or crackers, and/or fresh produce in a pinch.I like that the lines for the cash registers are almost always very short any time of day or night. There is no self-check-out option, but the cashiers are all great so if there was one I personally probably wouldn't use it anyway.Tips: 1. The Karine & Jeff soup line is delicious, filling, decently priced for the quality, and far less processed than most pre-prepared soups. 2. Met Market's own box of chocolates, which they sometimes stock and sometimes do not stock, rivals that of some of the best chocolatiers in Seattle. Definitely worth a try, and, if they happen to not be stocking it, a trip to the chocolate aisle never disappoints.3. For a more lavish, bigger, better-stocked Met Market, try a different Met Market location. If you've been to other Met Market locations already, this location may be a bit of a disappointment. If you haven't yet been to any other Met Market locations, don't judge the other locations based on this location - this location is kind of the baby brother of the chain.

I love a good seasonal mushroom pie and this one comes with truffle cream. Need I say more?

The biggest hit for this location is that self checkout is two stalls. To compare to other locations, Queen Anne has six or seven self checkout stalls, and Mercer has at least four. I don't know if they don't get enough foot traffic to this location or if it's to prevent loss, but it definitely made me not want to come back. While their selection of Rind chips (what I was there to clean them out of) was well stocked, the store was incredibly chilly and fairly empty. Their parking area was a small lot attached to the back door and the entire store seemed designed oddly. All in all, there are nicer, larger locations to go to, and this Magnolia Metropolitan Market is not the vibe.

We live close and come here often. Mainly coffee and for produce. The staffing is skeleton crew in the deli and over thanksgiving the hot food section was closed. The checkers are generally not very happy and the person who lingers at the self checkout but doesn't help makes people avoid it. The prices here are high and compared toSand Point or QA it doesn't even feel like the same brand of store. Updating to say there is a man who has worked here forever in the deli who is clearly very ill and should not be working with food. He's been getting more unwell as the year has gone on. People don't want to be helped by him. Come on Met Market. I feel for this guy.

Don't mind them overpricing things, I do mind the poor selection of items they lack and lack of quality smoothies and orange juices they have elsewhere. They don't have Columbia gorge drinks/smoothies and they lack the Aloha bars like they do at their other locations. They also don't carry quality laundry detergent either like Zum Indigo Wild.

Not your friendly neighborhood grocery store anymore. I ordered a too good too go bag and asked my mom to pick up for me. There's a screenshot of the order page and complete order ID. But the person refused to give my mom the bag, claiming that they can't go off of a screenshot. If you're not familiar with too good too go, the order has to be picked up within a certain window. And once the window passes, they won't provide a refund.I'm really curious what person will create a convincing screenshot with an active order id to steal some leftovers. The pickup instruction from 2g2g reads :"Please see the team at the bakery counter to present your order receipt and collect your Surprise Bag!" There's no mention of having to have the app. So why was metropolitan market so difficult?

Several thoughts. The prices here are outrageous now. There is at least one person at the bakery who has zero customer service skills and we avoid when working. There needs to be more basic sandwich items and easier deli wait times. The deli always gets the amounts of what your order wrong. Love the flowers and some of the checkers. Adding that the self check lane appears to only be open when one particular employee is there and she stands ON TOP of you. There can be 100 people waiting in the other lanes and 2 self checks closed. Everyone comments about this but it remains.
