Beware this place is very expensive!!! You should only shop here when you are in an extremely dire situation because EVERYTHING is marked up to get the maximum profit and I am not kidding. The eggs that I have attached is only one item, the wines are a whole different story.

I really wanted to like this place. The staff was nice and their prices were decent compared to everything else that it's next to. I came here on a whim, getting something to eat on my way to an appointment. I saw they had these to go containers filled with the leftovers of their buffet. It looked appetizing. I got home and heated up, and sadly the whole plate was swimming in oil. The fried rice was dry and oily and everything else was oily. The pot sticker and egg roll were the only things that were decent in this meal. The chicken teriyaki, orange chicken and fried rice were a disappointment. I ate it because I did it to myself... and I don't waste food. So, it's edible, but not the best culinary experience. I will just come here if I am craving a coke zero or chips.... turned me off to their whole hot food option.

I'm so thankful this market is next to my apartment! It has saved me from starvation on more than one occasion because I can't manage to get myself to the actual grocery store. It appears to be family owned and I always encounter the same three people. They have always all been so so friendly to me. There is a decent selection of fresh fruits and veggies, frozen entrees, pantry items and even a food bar and salad bar at lunch time. The markup on grocery items isn't that bad considering it's a market - only about 10-20%. Brown eggs, however will cost you a steep $7.99.I think my favorite things about this market though are1) First of all, the awesome food and salad bars. If you're short on time, swing by before work in the AM and get alacarte pre cooked bacon, eggs, sausages, gravy and biscuits. Pay by the pound, so you can pick as much or little as you'd like! Same goes for lunch - the chow mein and fried rice are addicting. This has easily become one of my favorite lunch spots because it's so quick and easy to take on the go - and so fresh and delicious! For the healthier options, they open up a full salad bar!2) the wine selection. I am very impressed with the wine here and it's become my favorite place to pick up a bottle. It looks like they really take pride in what they sell and display their selection like wine is all they sell!

Great little shop right next to the hospitals. The Cascade Rancher on sourdough bread is outstanding. Have had it two days in a row on my trip! Am on my way there for day three!

There's two of these in seattle that I know of. This review is for the one on 8th & Marion! Suuuper lovely and kind AAPI lady (always so nice and cheery) and kind man and a chill 20-something [unsure if they're all fam or not]. THE SANDWICHES ARE SO DANG GOOD (also they have like EVERY flavor of Oreo in their shelves, didn't even know some of those existed???). B/c there's a review about this place being anti-Black [I suspect the other location is], I just saw last week a suuuper cute and long exchange between a Black person (idk their pronouns) and the man and woman--they all clearly knew each other by name and everything, too. So think this one's more friendly (and maybe less racist) than the other! The other, the location I'm forgetting, I'd say probably is racist and is defs classist [I've seen them be super rude to chill homeless folks]. My boyfriend, who's half Korean and quarter Black, mentioned similar conclusions to me when I asked.

ALERT NEW OWNER!! Older asian lady had announced she is the owner Jenny Kim as soon as i walked in. Okay gotcha. I was browsing around to see if i just needed anything random and she kept following me. She then goes. What do you need! Yelling at me. I told her i was just browsing around and she kept following around making me uncomfortable. So i grabbed a drink and then she comes up behind me saying "that's all you getting!?" Again with her raising her voice. This made me super uncomfortable so i put it back and just left.

Wish I could give negative stars. Their pricing is predatory. Whatever you think something costs, it costs 3 times as much. A small lemon is $1.50. the ramen soups (that are $1-$2 everywhere else) are $4-7!!). On top of that when you pay there's **no option to NOT tip***! WTF!! If you don't want to top this sleezeball place, you need to select custom tip and enter 0!These ppl won't even give you a bag after ripping you off.

Nice corner store with an excellent beer selection. Not much in the way of groceries but a good way to nab essentials between full store trips. Haven't tried the food menu.

One of the worst experiences at a dining establishment I've ever had. Me and my 2 friends were the only customers toCome in during our morning there. And it took 30 minutes for them to make 3 coffees and 3 sandwiches. One of which was entirely wrong. Save yourself some time. Go somewhere more reliable

I used to go to this place regularly but will no longer be a customer due to concerns of their health standards. At my last visit, after ordering a sandwich i noticed the employee drop her food prep glove onto the floor. She proceeded to pick up the glove, shake it off and put it back on her hand before making the sandwiches of the 3 healthcare workers waiting in line. This was surprising behavior at anytime but ESPECIALLY during a pandemic... not only disrespectful and dangerous but says a lot about how they "care" for their customers. Very disappointing.
