Mesquite Grille

Came in and sat at the bar for lunch. The bartender was great, she recommended the club and it was amazing. Will definitely be returning.

OK Food, Over Priced Bar MenuFood was so-so, average at best. The bar was ridiculously overpriced, charging for ice. Yes, you read this right, if you buy a margarita, they will add a few bucks on top for ice. I've never seen that before at any restaurant. I spoke with the manager who had no explanation. I'd like to bring a bag of ice and see if they throw you out. What I'd really like to do is bring a cooler of ice and see if any of the patrons will buy my ice at half price, but I probably would get thrown out.

It is unfortunate that the service is so bad at this place as we like the food and it is our neighborhood go to. I get it that restaurants are hurting to find good talent right now but that isn't an excuse for down right rudeness. The place wasn't that busy yet everyone working there seemed completely overwhelmed and couldn't wait to give us our check and get us out of there. I won't pretend to know what others are going through in their lives but rudeness doesn't help. And consistent rudeness is simply not acceptable.

Service has gone down here. Have lived in area for 10 years and frequented the place. Reading the reviews was if some of the reviewers were with me as they shared the same experience. Started to wonder if I was invisible. Wait staff walks around with eyes pointed to ground as if on purpose to avoid customers. Several staff walked by with no acknowledgement. Finally spoke to a manager who seemed just as overwhelmed as wait staff. Literally waited 26 minutes to finally get someone to take my order. That was after going to bar 3 separate times to ask. You don't get that many chances but I was stuck waiting on others practicing. Appreciated the free water though. Come if you want to just have a seat and look at the views with no service. Perhaps it's BYOB and they haven't informed us. Otherwise can no longer recommend the Mesquite grill.

Food was good. Service was awful. Happy hour is not great but you can't beat the view so I guess that's the $10 "happy hour" burger. I can't even begin about the service, other than our waitress forgot everything and should right things down. No time management with her . View is great so I'm sure we'll give it another shot. Hopefully they get the happy hour figured out.

We tried the new menu tonight and all was delicious. My cheeseburger was dome perfectly medium rare as I requested and the waffle fries were crisp and hot. Hus had the quesadilla with Pork and raved.... Great pork filling and lots of cheese. Best of all...all day Sunday is happy hour so both our selections were inexpensive. AND the Dallas Cowboys in the big screen are winning! A perfect meal.

Negative reviews are not my thing, but this establishment seems to have a double standard for women and men. Not impressed at all with the service and frankly, offended

Stopped in for happy hour. Had some great wings and potato skins. My server was so quick great service. This place has such a good vibe. Can't wait to watch some football and try some more food. Btw solid draft selection.

McDowell mountain is the best spot in the neighborhood! Love coming here with friends or family. The food is always great!! Definitely a gem in central Scottsdale.

It's been a bit since I've dined here. Stopped in and pleasantly surprised to see they have a new HH menu. Had the wings and the potato skins, loved them both. The service was positive and attentive. I will definitely return, maybe for lunch.
