Meshuggah Shack

Cute little coffee spot on a corner with a parking lot with ample parking. The workers were very friendly and had great recommendations. I got the unicorn drink with whip creme and sprinkles. It was delicious! The drinks came out pretty fast and they have a little sitting area under a shaded tree to sit and enjoy our coffee. Will definitely come back!!

What a cute little literal "shack" on a street corner in a fun part of town. Good amount of seating considering the size of the shop. All outdoor seating which works well for the beautiful San Diego weather. The barista was so friendly and made great suggestions. The drinks were so delicious and tasty!

Fun and funky neighborhood cafe with tons of drink options and fun drink names. Outdoor seating for people watching on the corner and lovely baristas to make you a sparkly concoction or just pour a regular coffee.

I rarely drive through Mission Hills without stopping at the "shack.," Why? Along with the coffee, it's a truly interesting little space with walkability to some other cafes and restaurants. Also. Every time I go to the shack, there's somebody interesting there making my coffee. The lively conversation and pleasant demeanor is worth the trip.The menu for coffee is pretty extensive on it's own, but they do create custom drinks. My drink today was an iced matcha with two shots of espresso. No sugar necessary, and the right amount of buzz. The matcha has that long slow kick, and then they espresso is for running errands.

Worst matcha I've ever had :( Not sure if that's the norm or the barista just did it wrong but it was all milk. Wasn't even green or tasted like matcha. Expensive disappointment.

Just like a great coffee, this place is a kick in the pants!While tooling around town on a weekend trip to San Diego, we happened to walk past the Shack and a coffee sounded like just the thing. Lo and behold, the drink names are epic, the decor is spectacular, and the employee helping us was so nice. I was needing some extra octane after a heavy night so I got a drink that had a name I was slightly embarrassed to say out loud because it was so silly, the contents of which were a coffee with a shot of espresso. Weeeee!!!! I was back guns a-blazin' in no time! We sipped our coffee on a little bistro table behind the shack, and all was right with the world. San Diego is a town full of magic like this, and should my steps march me past the shack again, I will be back for another dose!

Super cute coffee shack with great service. The girl informed me they were out of nitro so I got a black iced coffee and it was still so good!

Mediocre service with a side of attitude. The business mocks Jesus with a whole bunch of corny signs. Would you support a business that mocks God? I wonder if they'd ever dare mock any other religion??? Probably not. Shame on them.

New menu 7/4/24. Good service and good drinks. I usually get the meshuggah mensch or the Mexican mocha. Busy corner good for people watching
