I honestly cannot express how amazing this place is! Mr.David congrats on being the main person running it and always being so attentive!Great costumer service: in 8 years going here, I've not once had an issue. It's always been friendly, casual, and somewhat soothing to have dinner here. I love the food, it has a very delicious taste! I normally have huge reviews to provide, but I cannot begin to express how everything is just right in Yen Ching! keep up the great work and doing your best, a paint job and outside decor could help. But overall 10/10.Waiting time to be seated 0-10 mins at most.Food taste: 20/10Service: 10/10 unless the man running it is helping then I'd say 20/10!

Horrible service. After eating I was having tea with my friend for 10 min and a tall man came over and said "you need to leave" I a very loud/aggressive way. There was no one waiting in the lobby and there were plenty of open tables. We had lunch at 4:30p and are 2 elderly ladies, so it's not like we were there beyond closing or causing a ruckus. It was embarrassing and highly disappointing. The food was sub par as well, but it is the service that will keep me from going back.

I have been here multiple times and every time is a great experience. The best Chinese food I have ever had, the egg rolls and fried rice are amazing. The service is great and super friendly, and always quick. I love coming here, would highly recommend.

Service, food quality, atmosphere, 10/10. Me and my wife live an hour away and the drive is always worth it.

Called to order an egg fried rice as I was visiting Banner Baywood and it was right around the corner. Paid $14 even and the fried rice was tasteless, I tasted a brunt taste . Rice is over cooked and a bit soggy like they heated the rice over and over again. Kinda like a Panda Express fried rice taste. Very old ambience to the restaurant and not welcoming at all.

Quality has fallen off over the past 15 years. Not just food, but the service as well. This used to be my go-to spot for Chinese food. Last time I was there, the cook and manager were arguing very loudly. The restaurant smells strange in general. Pro tip: check the silverware. Every time I've gone at least 3 pieces of silverware hasn't been walked properly. Restrooms are messy every time I have visited the restaurant. With standards falling lower with every year, I just have to stop paying them for poor service and mediocre food. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I gave 1 star because the egg drop soup is the only thing this place has that is edible. I ordered lemon chicken, there was no natural lemon flavor in the dish at all. All food coloring and artificial lemon flavor. I pulled the breading apart with my fingers and they are stained from all the food coloring in the dish. I did say I didn't like it and they took 50% of my bill. I won't be going back.

Came here for the first time a few months ago and the service was great. Even left with a bag of tea and left a tip in cash.Came in today and the food was completely off, the service was even worst. Was the same two people as the first time and after not getting the service we expected, we ended up leaving early instead of eating the off tasting food. Went to pay the bill and notified the main waiter of the bad service and his response was completely appalling. He stated "your service was bad this time because you no leave tip last time." Like "WHAT!?" Who does that!? We indeed left a tip last time & the fact that this guy felt so comfortable saying this in front of the entire restaurant very loud? We spoke to him in a low volume to be discreet, to voice our concerns! And he still wanted us to tip again! Never coming back to this establishment. Food is overpriced and tastes like something heated up. Tried to give it a second chance. Not worth it. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

This used to be our go to for Chinese food. However, it has become the one place we will never go to again! We ate there tonight, and service was horrible. It took forever for our egg rolls to come out, and our dinner came out before we were finished with the egg rolls. Another couple came after us, and they must be regulars, because the waiter fawned all over them, and their egg rolls and entree came out BEFORE ours. We will not go back and we will discourage anyone we know from going there as well.
