We drove by WUB probably a dozen times. Honestly it doesn't look to promising of a coffee shop on the outside and even their online presence isn't doing it for me.We stopped by with extra time to spare and boy we only regret passing it up all those times. WhereUBean Coffee is the unsung hero of Ahwatukee and Chandler. I am a sucker for an Espresso Tonic and this one delivered. Not too sweet not too bitter. I've been a fan of Intelligenstia Coffee for a number of years coming from LA and that's what they serve here at WUB. That right there is bonus points. Upon arrival there were a couple of folks hanging around. The staff was attentive and helpful when it came to ordering. The barista behind the bar had confirmed that I like my espresso tonic on the sweeter side before she made it. I appreciate it when baristas give me a heads up in a drink before it's too late.It's cozy inside, dated, but generally nice. We will be stopping by WUB whenever we have a chance! I definitely recommend it!

Super happy with my visit here. I haven't had a delicious well made matcha in a long time! There were a bit of options on how it was to be made, and thankfully the barista was very patient and kind and helped navigate on the taste that would best fit me.Sorry I. Can't remember my order exactly but I did macadamia milk with I think a brown sugar syrup. It was perfectly hot (hate when drinks are lukewarm)Not sure if the shades were just drawn around 2 pm but it had a moody vibe and very relaxing. There's a bit of clutter on the way to the restroom, but the restrooms were clean (and there's only one restroom)Love that they have plenty of cozy seating like sofas and comfortable chairs. Can't wait to sit and read here again

Triple threat!I'll start this review by saying that I drive past 10 or more coffee shops on my way to WUB. It's just that good.I stumbled on this coffee shop by accident, now it feels fated. Started off with the chai & homemade brown sugar syrup, was amazing. They have really well crafted seasonal menus that add a personal touch to this spot's charm. Their lavender haze chai was my favorite for months and I was sad to see it go... except the Pista Matcha stole my heart the next season, balanced, light, refreshing, just absolute chef kiss. I'mRecently I went in to try the pumpkin pie latte, & having not had the coffee at WUB, I asked the barista for a rec, she recommended the seasonal caramel cookie butter latte, it was actually so fantastic that I'm writing this review now. 10/10 these are some good beans yall*This is not a sponsored review , I truly just enjoy this coffee shop. The employees are super kind, the vibes are nice, they do a lot to support the community & above all, truly a triple threat*

If you haven't tried their lavender lemonade, you're missing out! Ambiance is cozy, but it can get busy quickly, get there early. Only reason for 4 stars is that its often busy so I don't get a place to sit, but their coffee is always great to go!

If you're looking for a coffee shop to work out of, then this is one of your options. The ambience isn't anything fancy, was pretty busy for a weekend and they had a ton of baked goods to choose from apart from coffee. Had the regular coffee and was decent!

Can't believe it took me so long but I finally visited this local coffee spot! It's a ways away from me but they were doing a fundraiser for Palestine so I trekked over. The parking lot was full on a Saturday afternoon so I parked in the lot next to the physical therapy place.It was pretty busy when I went as well but no one was waiting in line so it was good timing. I took a few moments to review their menu and the pastry display cases, lots to choose from. Their drink menu is fairly standard for a coffee shop and they had some seasonal specials that looked good. I ordered their please date me latte, a chocolate croissant, and a brookie (half brownie, half cookie). The baristas were friendly and my drink was prepared quickly. It was supposed to have date pieces but I didn't have any, and it tasted like rose so I'm wondering if they gave me a different drink instead. It was very tasty though! The brookie was delicious as well with two of my favorite desserts in one: chocolate chip cookie and brownie. The chocolate croissant was one of the best I've ever had, it didn't look like it had enough chocolate filling but it was the perfect amount with lots of dough layers and a salty flavor. I love supporting local businesses and especially when they are raising money to help people in need. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area. Thanks, WhereUBean!

Go support this amazing, small business! They make the most delicious drinks!!! And the ambiance is such a vibe....great for getting work or studying done! Thanks for the attentive service as well! And I can't forget...I absolutely love what they stand for!!

Unbelievably creative, balanced, and layered options on both the food and drink menus. Seasonal selections were served quickly, and outshined any holiday specialties we've tried this season. The Marsala chai combines cardamom, anise, and saffron...hitting every note alongside iced chai and espresso. The cookie butter latte isn't overly sweet, instead singing of ginger and cinnamon. The use of real ingredients with intention brings this place to the next level. WhereUBean was cozy: bustling with happy guests collaborating on computers, chatting over breakfast burritos, reading in oversized fuzzy chairs, even outside with their pups. In every way the cafe experience you've been dreaming of!

Short version: if you've never tried an espresso tonic, this is an excellent place at which to try it. If you have already tried an espresso tonic, this is an excellent place at which to have it. Perfect recipe, perfectly executed.If you're at the level of coffee nerddom where you do like to pick up the notes and revel in the actual coffee flavours... I've found that a well chosen tonic recipe complements the coffee and draws out the finish. You don't get harsh bitterness from the tonic, or harsh acidity from the espresso. This results in a delicate, yet simultaneously & unmistakably intense coffee flavour.Perfectly sweetened, perfectly balanced. (To me, this is similar to adding a few drops of water to a complex whiskey. The flavour blooms, and perhaps it adjusts the temperature at which you normally experience the drink.) As with whiskey:Sometimes the day calls for a gnarly, diesel-powered base. Sometimes the day calls for something like this ...a graceful, charming cup of sunlight.I could have taken a photo when I first got it (while you could still see the layering). ...Instead, I affixed the drink to my face like a horse feed bag for 10 minutes and regret nothing.

It had the perfect balance of moisture and sweetness, making it a great pairing with a cup of coffee.Speaking of coffee, I got a small cup, which comes with two shots of espresso. The best part? You can't even taste how strong it is--it's smooth, balanced, and easy to drink. Exactly what you want when you need a caffeine boost without the bitterness.But what really stood out was the service. The staff here are incredibly friendly, not in a forced, 'this is my job' way, but in a genuinely warm and welcoming way. It makes a difference.If you're in the area and need a good cup of coffee or a bite to eat, I definitely recommend stopping by.
