Water N Ice

I am a long time customer who knew the old owners. The new owners are doing a great job keeping the quality and taste of the water the same as the previous owners. The water stations are always clean and I appreciate that. Please keep up the good water quality!

I was in the other day (long time customer) and heard a discussion about bad Yelp reviews lately. So took a look. Seriously people. Use Twitter and Facebook to rant about the great mask debate. You know why I have been a loyal customer for 10 years? The water taste great, the employees are always pleasant, and, if I've been good on not overdoing carbs that week I can treat my wife and I to a shaved ice or some other treat.I am not down with some bastardized right wing version of cancel culture. Gee whiz, they didn't make masks optional fast enough for you??? So ate you trolling Circle K's and grocery stores too. Small businesses have suffered enough because because we politicized a pandemic... both sides. Go rant on Twitter and leave small business alone. Spare me your medical reasons for suddenly not being able to wear a mask. How did you transact business this past year. My wife is in chronic rejection with a second lung transplant. She is immunosuppressed. Her lungs are too weak to use the high quality mask with replaceable carbon filters that she used for years. Guess what, she can throw on a paper mask, leave some room on the side and breath just fine. BTW my pronouns are semi-rational/imperfect but trying human

One stop store for everything you need! Crystal clear water, new ice made 24/7 (with the RO filtered water), thrifty ice cream, Hawaiian shaved ice, snacks, candies, drinks, accessories,etc. Customer service is Best in the neighborhood for sure!

High quality well maintained RO water is 25c/ gal & pre-paid water card is only 20c/gal. Alkaline water $1.25/gal. Yummy Thrifty ice cream and milkshakes. Variety of flavor of Hawaiian Shaved Ice. Very clean. The friendly staff is always welcoming customers.

The name is deceiving, because while you can indeed buy water and ice here, there are so many more cool delights inside. For months I'd pass this unassuming storefront while going into Safeway, then my niece told me that they sell "Circus Ice Cream." Being the great Aunt that I am ;) I took her in, and lo and behold: they have Thrifty Ice Cream! They also have made-to-order Italian Sodas and Shaved Ice, and a variety of candy and snacks. Thrifty Pistachio is a nostalgia treat for me, but usually I just get my niece and her BFF Circus Animal Cookies cones. The store is clean, prices are low, the employees are friendly = we are fans! Another point in my "favorite Aunt" ledger! * you can buy prepaid water cards, and it comes out to about .25 a gallon * **ice is $1 a bag ***** Thrifty single scoop cone (sugar or cake) or cup cost less than $2.00, for a verygenerous portion! *** **** for kids, it is a good idea to order the cone in a cup, less mess ;) ****

Can you say Thrifty pistachio ice cream on a sugar waffle cone? Yes! I believe they have about 20 or so different flavors, italian sodas, coffee, snack items, smoothies, Hawaiian shaved ice, and of course water.

I grew up next a water and ice and fell in love with Thrifty. After many years of not having it I found several water and ice stores stores that carried it and my long lost love for chocolate malted crunch was reborn. It's telling me to put mustard on this review. I don't know if the people of yelp prefer mustard or not. Some people may not like mustard so I must refrain at this time.

This Water & Ice has the friendliest staff and best ice cream in town. They completely outrank the W&I only a mile down the street in terms of quality service and deliciousness. I come here at least 2-3 times a month just for my ice cream fix.

Convenient location as they have 24/7 water dispensary. Inside of the store, they sell candy, drinks and Thrifty ice cream. Owner is very friendly.

Very very good water , believe it or not all water is not treated the same lol . The ice is crystal clear also , I appreciate you guys ! And the best deal around at 20 cents a gallon when you buy a 10.00 card !
