Walking M Farms

The beverage burro was a great addition to our cocktail hour and kept all our guests entertainment we were off picture taking. Super easy and low maintenance vendor to work with. No hassle whatsoever and came through for us last minute in a pinch.

Im embarrassed to say that Walking M Farms was my 2nd choice of consideration. I wish I would have picked them to begin with! I originally had contacted HaulNAss about hiring the beer burro for our wedding's cocktail hour. I guess it was a more "popular" company. I was super excited about it, but after talking to the owner a few times something didn't sit well with me. Before I scrapped the whole idea I decided to look around somewhere. Thats when we found and came in contact with Walking M Farms and so happy when I spoke with Tia. Something about talking with her made me feel so comfortable & I got excited of the idea of a donkey at my wedding again!Tia was so easy going & sweet. She asked me about my wedding colors & my wedding theme. Said she was open to ideas. (Though I just went with a classic white flower wedding look, bc it was just so perfect) Tia wanted to do whatever she could to make me happy. I'm a business owner & so I feel like the bar is set high when it comes to customer service & Tia/Walking M Farms totally met my expectations & more! I just didnt feel that way with the other company. Tia seemed interested in me & my wedding. The other company seemed interested in my deposit. Now.....lets talk about the fun stuff! A donkey named Sophia at my wedding! Wow! Sophia was soooo perfect & soooo cute. We originally had her greet guests & we put wedding programs in her "coolers". Then when the wedding started we emptied the coolers, filled them with ice, beer & water bottles & Sophia was ready for cocktail hour! My guests adored her. My vendors adored her. The venue adored her. She was so chill & so well behaved.Basically I had just an all around positive experience with Walking M Farms & I highly recommend! The only "bad" thing I can say about this company is that when I originally went on their website I saw they were located in Higley AZ. Ive never heard of Higley was so I just assumed they were no where near Pheonix. So I didn't call for a few weeks, until I got desperate & searched again. That's when I realized Higley was just an area in Mesa. (so the "bad" thing being that maybe that being listed on their site could confuse people) Glad I double checked bc I couldnt imagine not having Sophia & Walking M Farms at my wedding! =)

I was captivated when I saw a Groupon for a Walking Farms Pony Gram. Actually, you had a choice between the Pony Gram and Donkey Gram (the latter being perhaps the most genius way to break up with a person...kind of like a text message on crack.)The premise is exactly as it sounds: A pony (or donkey) is delivered (with a handler) at your choice of location. They come decorated as appropriate, and deliver a message.This is ideal for any child because who would not be thrilled to see a beautifully decorated PONY show up at their doorstep? And yes, a pony ride is included. But, if you think outside the box, this is also ideal for anyone who is hard to shop for, because like I said, who would not be thrilled to see a pony at their door, with streamers carefully braided in their mane and adorned with a birthday hat? I immediately knew that this was the perfect gift for my mother's 60th birthday. She is incredibly hard to shop for but enjoys public displays of craziness that would embarrass anyone else, including myself. However, I sucked it up for her big day and had the pony delivered to her favorite restaurant as we sat outside on the patio.The surprise was slightly foiled when she saw the huge horse carrier drive past in the parking lot...but that was no fault of the farm, I should have had my mother facing the opposite way!She loved the spectacle and I loved the super friendly and gorgeous horse. The handler was equally friendly, very punctual, and let multiple people ride the pony. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a unique and rememberable birthday gift -- or an odd yet thoughtful way to end a coupling.

We had a beer burro, Sophie, from Walking M Farms at our wedding, and she was the star of the show! She was a real treat for our out of state guests.She was the sweetest thing, soft, calm, and friendly. The Walking M Farms team also worked very well with our venue coordinators to ensure that she was ready to go and in the right place at the right time. After our first kiss, we walked back up the aisle, and she was right there! She can wear a floral crown, but we chose the mariachi sombrero, which was adorable. What a great way to kick off a party.

The first thing I knew that I wanted at my wedding was a beer burro, so after I decided on my venue, I immediately called the other company in town to reserve one. The other company said they wouldn't be able to maneuver their trailer at our venue (admittedly, it was a small venue). I was seriously heartbroken until I discovered Walking M Farms! I told Tia my issue with the other company, and she said no problem, she'd make it work. Oh my goodness, it was everything I could have hoped for. Sophie was so sweet, everyone fell in love with her! We got some amazing photos and it was a really memorable experience. Tia, I can't thank you enough for making this happen for us!

Found Walking M Farms through Facebook and sought them out as a back up to the original mobile petting zoo we had hired for our daughter's birthday party. When the original zoo was non-responsive as our date drew nearer, I reached out to Walking M Farms to firm up the date. Though a bit more expensive, they were extremely professional and provided great communication up to and throughout the event date. We cancelled our original zoo and hired WMF. Everyone, including the adults, had a great time. We had a pair of ducks, pair of chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, and a silk chicken at our farm, and they were delightful. Thanks, Walking M Farms!

Walking M Farms made our wedding day a hit! Initially, our planner had chosen another vendor to supply a beer burro for our wedding's cocktail hour. That vendor cancelled on us just 9 days before our wedding and Walking M Farms came to the rescue. They were far easier to work with, flexible, and accommodating. Everyone loved the beer burro at the wedding and I would highly recommend Walking M Farms to people in town looking for a beer burro!

Disappointed that after speaking with someone via email to negioate a 1 hour unicorn party for my daughter's 4th birthday, I called them today to book it, and now they are insisting they have a 2 hour minimum. And now my 2nd choice is no longer available, and I really don't want a pony walking around my yard for 2 hours, when we had some other activities planned.
