Heard so much hype about this place and did a Togo order and very disappointed ordered the Spinach Enchiladas. Quite possibly thee most disgusting dish ever no where on the description does it say your going to get velveta thick like cheese with veggies thrown in there not even melted. It's so gross I do not recommend this dish is by far the worst

We stopped in for chips and salsa and ended up ordering Mexican pizza too! The staff are so friendly and attentive! We love dining here and there is a patio with a lakeside view!

Solid choice for a locally-owned, family style Mexican spot. I'd never been but some friends chose this for a weekday lunch. While this shopping center is busy, I had no trouble parking. We were seated quickly in a booth. The restaurant seems large but it's broken up by decor and separate areas rather than one giant room.It happened to be Margarita Monday! Basic margaritas for $1.99. This is a very simple margarita but a great deal. The menu is huge! All sorts of options including lunch specials.I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga. This is possibly only the second time in my life ordering a chimichanga, but I was feeling random. It was really good! Too much sour cream, but I don't like sour cream. Next time I'll bother to say hold the sour cream. I got the de Olla beans, which are whole beans with salsa and cheese. So good! Our waitress was so personable and on top of everything. My friend ordered enchiladas, and was very happy that our waitress asked if she wanted the olives and onions in it. My friend hadn't realized those were in the enchiladas but definitely didn't want them. My only real critique would be that the salsa isn't my favorite. It wasn't bad, just not crave-worthy.

The waiter dealt with our crazy big party with a smile and finesse. He was friendly and attentive. The outside patio overlooked a nice area. We sat and talked and enjoyed the salsa and chips. I had the tamales. The corn one was sweet. Little too sweet for me but still tasty. The pork tamale was great. I'd go back.

Valle Luna, established in 1983. This place is 41 years old. She's my senior!A group of us popped in for Cinco de Mayo. I got the Fundido with carne asada, a raspberry margarita, and a bloody mary. A 2:1 cocktail-to-entree ratio is acceptable, okay? And what can be said about the Fundido that hasn't already been mentioned? The fundido is their most popular dish. Rolled in a flour tortilla with their homemade jalapeño cream cheese, then lovingly deep fried and topped with melted cheddar cheese. A side of rice and beans accompanies your cheesy meal. It's a two-Lactaid-entree, but oh, so worth it!Eddy was our waiter and he was great. The menu can be overwhelming as I think it might rival Cheesecake Factory in items, so feel free to ask for suggestions.¡Buen provecho, Amigos!

This place checks all the boxes for me when I'm looking for a night out for some sit down Mexican. To me, Valle Luna is the back of all trades for Mexican restaurants. It doesn't blow you away in any one area but the sum of all parts makes it a great option for many occasions. Food is solid enough and they have a few stand out dishes, plus the salsa and other sauces are all quite tasty. The patio rocks and ambience in general is always fun. Service is usually pretty good but if can get spotty on occasions, especially if they get pretty busy. Prices are also reasonable, especially for happy hour. Oh, and their margaritas are the best around by far.
