Val Vista Lakes Events

This was the venue for my wedding and it's was absolutely beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Janet and Janel were very efficient with communication and setting up expectations. They were willing to work with us and all our crazy ideas to make our wedding memorable. Definitely recommend bringing your photographer there before the event to scout out the best picture spots because there are so many. They even gave us a personalized picture frame as a wedding gift. Would recommend to anyone throwing a wedding. Very reasonably priced as well

It's not a big fancy place. The place is old and looks nice since is by the water. The people that work there are hard to get a hold of, and it's run like a moms and pops place. The fiancé and I booked the venue, due to grandfathers illness since someone cancelled a date 5 month out so we took it. Unfortunately grandfather passed a month later. When he passed we let them know what happened but they said there is nothing they can do and they kept all of our deposit and said sorry. They got a big deposit from us and yet did not offer to give us 1 dollar back. To top it off they sent us an email a month later asking for the rest of the money, we had to call and remind them of the death again since they had forgot.

We just had our wedding at Val Vista and were so happy with the venue. Janet and her team did a fantastic job helping us stay on task during our big day and they were easy to work with and responsive throughout the last year. The venue is beautiful and we came away with great pictures. We would highly recommend it for any wedding or special event.

Gorgeous venue, amazing staff! They have so many photo op spots that you can truly look like you didn't have your wedding in Arizona. It is a public community center, so there are people that are invited to your wedding on property, but the staff ensures that they don't interfere with your ceremony or reception. Highly recommend you check them out if you are looking for a wedding venue.

I had the most amazing wedding ever!!Mackenzie and Janel were amazing for the rehearsal and the day of. They kept me worry free and helped make the whole day go exactly as I had envisioned!!All the ladies in the office made planning easy and completely stress-free!I love the setup and layout of this venue- which meant I had to do minimal decorating. We got so many compliments by our guests about our venue. I would 100000% recommend this venue to anyone for any event.Thank you so much, ladies!!

Val Vista Lakes was absolutely stunning! My photographer made us late coming inside for our reception because we just couldn't get enough of the surrounding landscape. It's just gorgeous! Not only is the outside breathtaking, but the inside is perfect! It's got a HUGE ballroom with tons of space for all the tables you could possibly need. It comes with a huge dance floor and a stage setting for any performances you could want. Some people use the stage for the head table, we used it for our live cover band. It was perfect! It also comes with a piano, which we didn't use, but the possibilities are endless. It was the perfect setting. We needed minimal decor because the place was already beautiful on its own. Aside from the look and feel of the ballroom, the staff is amazing! They set up everything. They allowed us free range of wherever we wanted to put things. They made it feel like it was almost our home to do with what we liked. They are also very affordable. We had our reception on a Thursday because weekends are kind of crazy for us. VVL did not break the bank at all! They were extremely flexible on dates, however they book up fast. They also include all the tables and chairs which cost a fortune if you have to rent them. That was so helpful! The absolutely best part about VVL is their incredible kitchen! They have a full service bar area and the most amazing kitchen you could ever ask for. It's huge, has tons of prep space and an enormous refrigerator. They also have stoves, large sinks, tons of trash cans and everything you could ever want in a kitchen. It's all covered up too, so all you see is the big ballroom and a bar. You can't see any of the craziness happening in the kitchen. We couldn't recommend them enough. If we were getting married again, or even just throwing a party, we would use them. They made our reception unforgettable!

We were really impressed with the Val Vista Lakes. It is a gorgeous venue and just what we wanted without going to another state. It's a cross between garden and beach feel. The venue is reasonably priced especially for what you are getting. All the staff were very helpful. I was grateful for Janice's help on the big day.

Beautiful venue for your beautiful day! Disregard the tip about bad business, rules are rules. Bridezillas will attempt to cheat to win anything! Tasteless to turn on an event when you lose a silly contest. Your real prize should be your love, go plan your wedding ladies not spend your efforts here bashing a business
