US Post Office

Have avoided this PO like the plague for several months, but had an important letter to mail. There were some different staff there and they seemed to have their A/C turned on this time, which was good because it was 106 degrees today.One of the employees actually came out into the waiting area and queried those in line personally about whether they were merely picking up or dropping off a package that already had postage, instructing them to report to the far left window.At the far right was a newer employee who is extremely tall and muscular and friendly. As each customer left his window, he apologized for the wait, as there was a long line. But he works very fast, so the wait is not because of him.The female at the far left pickup window was a little strange. She had a big head bandana and crazy eyes. She had no one at her window and wasn't doing anything, nor was she announcing to newly arrived customers that if they only had a pickup or drop off they could come to her window -- other employees seemed to take on that "heavy mantle" FOR her. She only gave confrontational stares to customers in line, like she wanted to jump over the counter and fight with them for looking at her (probably wondering what her job was).The other employees were working a little slower, but not as slow as PAST longtime employees used to (maybe they finally retired). There used to be a middle aged lady with short spiky hair that worked so slow it was almost impossible to tell if she was moving. Just watching her made me feel like I was going into a coma. Maybe she is finally gone. SHE is the one who always SHOULD have apologized for the wait...Dare I say things are improving slightly over there. At least they had 4 active windows going. I'm curious as to what accounts for their sudden new motivation to actually do the jobs for which they are being handsomely paid...It is in a convenient location with good parking access IF you are going northbound on 7th Avenue. Otherwise you are pretty much SOL.

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Recommend this location also since it opens Saturdays! Helped me mail important documents

I have always found the staff at this location to be courteous, and good at what they do. I don't understand the two star rating at all. Five stars.

Yay - no waiting today at one of the busiest post offices in town! Happy to mail friends bday gift just in time

During the past year, this office has lost, misplaced or left my packages vulnerable to theft by forgetting to take the key out of a parcel locker and putting it into my mailbox 9-10 times. This is no exaggeration. I have reported these issues over and over again, and it keeps happening. Sick and tired of babysitting my merchandise and doing the carriers' job for them. They suck.

What is going on? When we send a mail, utilizing priority mail, we expect the USPS to hand our mail with care, and deliver it fast as promised.The message below has been sitting on their system since 3/21/2024 and today is 4/18/2024. That is over a month later for a mail that was to be delivered in 3 days. What are we suppose to do? Please deliver the mail as promised.If you can't deliver it, at least return it back to the sender then!

Worst customer service I've ever received from a post office and that's saying something. The clerk was not knowledgable and had a rude attitude. Much harder than it should have been to mail a simple package! Will avoid this office from now on.

Fraud went in was not Maria Evola changed my address illegally without my acknowledgement

This post office have sent 2 packages to the wrong address twice. Won't give me compensation and it was the postal carrier's screw up. Not even an apology. Don't go to this location. Use UPS if you can.

Called on 04.24.2023 @12:52p to check on package tracking cause I saw it's been 2 weeks now (that it's said out for delivery) and the delivery still hasn't been made, the vendor said to call the post office to check on it. The woman that picked up literally had me on hold for 10 mins because she didn't feel like tracking my package. It's now 04.24.2023 @1:07p and I've called 2 times since then for a total of 3X. Each call is now giving me the dial tone. What kind of ish is that??? I just want to know if they lost my package. I can see why there's a ton of bad reviews. Calling one more time at 1:09p ....they answered an hung up.UPDATE photo
