Interesting ride to get here but worth it. It's very touristy but in a good way. From Mesa there's 2 single lane bridges you have to cross to get here and about 500 turns. I came on my motorcycle along with about 30 other riders. The food was good (I had the chili w/cornbread) and the service was quick and responsive. It was relatively busy because it was a Sunday, so it's surprising that they were able to have that kind of service. My only problem: Pepsi products. If you've read any of my other reviews, you'd know I'd rather drink my own spit. But overall it was a really cool place to stop and catch your breath on a long motorcycle ride.

We first heard about Tortilla Flat on Arizona Highways TV. We visited a few years ago and loved it. We went back today and loved it even more. I highly recommend the Arizona Mesquite brisket Reuben sandwich. It's the best Reuben we have ever had. The restaurant is so fun with every inch of wall space covered in dollar bills, saddle stools at the bar and mining equipment out the window.

Decided to escape town for the day and dragged my kid and mom along for the adventure--destination: Tortilla Flat! The drive was like a rollercoaster (minus the screaming... mostly), but the scenery made up for it. When we got there, it was packed, but we entertained ourselves with live music while waiting 30 minutes for a table--not too shabby! I ordered a pastrami sandwich the size of my head, and yes, it was bomb! Our server was the sweetest, and honestly, I'd 100% do it all over again (windy roads and all)!

Very cool saloon with over 600,000 dollar bills stapled everywhere in the establishment. The inside has fantastic views with whimsical paintings and some rested out antiques, Full bar as well a good food can be had here as well as great employees "funny too, see pictures"

Drive to here is sick, see the lake, nice lookout, dad in law & his brother brought out their sports cars for it. Bit of a drive to this tiny street (off road /camping afterwards) but is a super sick wild west town lookin thing. Food is good but the vibes are what really make it what it is. If you bring a dollar bill, you can sign it and they'll put it up on the wall. Our stay is forever etched into that window : D. First meal with my girlfriend (now fiance's) family when I visited as my gf was working.

This was a cool saloon. There were bar stools with real saddles on them and dollar bills stapled all over the walls.........some three deep! The bathroom was rather interesting too, painted with saloon ladies on the stall doors. My husband and I split an order of carne asada tacos. They were okay, but definitely not worth the price. We also got an order of deep fried pickles that were supposed to be spears, but they served us coins. They were pretty bad. Evidently they had supply issues and did not have the spears as were listed on the menu. I wish we had been told that when we placed our order, it would have saved us from sending them back. I wish we had got some loaded fries like our friends ordered, they were amazing looking. If we are ever in the area again, that's what we will be getting. The service was great, as was the ambiance.

We stumbled into this after a hike. Didn't even know it was there. We were pretty hungry. There is an outside patio that had a live band. It said no dogs so we left ours in the car but they had 4 tables outside the patio we sat at. Someone came by later with a dog but didn't stick around so not sure if those tables were ok to have dogs at or not. In the patio area is a stage with a live band, the food and a separate bar. Alcoholic drinks aren't allowed out of the patio area i .e. those 4 outside tables. The food staff was super nice!! Took good care of us! Bar line was super long and they had card issues so that sucked esp just to get a Coke. Food was food. Taste like bar food. Nothing super crazy. Views were so amazing! Band was also super fun! Wish we had wandered here without the dogs. Could see it being a super fun time!

It's a "must stop" if you've taken the Dolly Steamboat excursion! Great dining facility with great "character" from the second you step into the hostess area, to the bar, and even when you have to go to the restroom! We had an amazing window view of the birds & squirrels having their dinner as well! Portions weredelicious & HUGE! Ashley, our server was Amazing!

Overall, cool place with a fun vibe! Stopped in for a snack while on the Apache Trail. We split the Wilbour Favorite and it was very enjoyable! Our neighbors ordered the pretzel and it was ginormous and looked delicious! The prickly pear lemonade on tap was a nice touch since I didn't want any alcohol. We did get a sample of the chili and it was goooood, but spicy!!! Can't speak much to anything else but the menu was fairly extension and everything was reasonably priced. Also, the saddle for the bar stoolwas so much fun and added a unique aestgetic!

Cute little town. Not much to do there but worth seeing at least once. We went there twice. Long drive to get there.
