Tortas El Chavo

This place is so legit. Found out about it on accident. Our friend recently moved nearby and he said he ate here 4 days in a row. I totally understand why....the tortas are so good. The bread is pillowy and soft with a delicious taste and the fillings are amazing. I've never really been into tortas and I've had them in California and Arizona. They were usually just okay. Here they are a delicious sandwich filled with tasty meats or vegetarian toppings. I've also had the burritos (asada, shredded pork, & chorizo), the chicken flautas, and the pastor tacos. All great. The rice and beans are also very tasty. All in all this is such a great spot. We come here whenever in this area of Mesa. Highly recommend. Service is fast, I like calling my order ahead for pickup. They have a small dining room that gets packed for lunch.

Best tortas this side of the Rio Grande. Service is VERY fast. Clean dining room but only suited for smaller parties. Fat, unhealthy, muffin top man stamp of approval.

They have an absolutely delicious Carne Asada Torta. This is a great lunch spot. It's easy to eat in or take it to go. They have friendly staff, a clean dining room, and great food made fresh!

Most amazing sandwich I've ever put in my mouth. Bread is fluffy and light, the avocado slabs are perfectly proportioned and ripe, meat is smokey. Solid sandwich that's easy to eat, look how perfectly packed it is. I've also had the tacos, they're really good as well and they are generous with the meat. Fast and kind service too!! I need to come back.

Fast, friendly, clean and great tasting Mexican food. Small business, with delicious food prepared quickly, hole in the wall shop that has yet to be discovered!

The torta are bomb! But over priced have gone to the location in sparks and seems like they don't want to sell. They seem rushed all the time.

Pretty consistent with their quality. One of the great neighborhood spots outside of the main downtown Mesa area. Get a torta...you can't go wrong. Beans and rice are good which is always a tell for Mexican food.

Great food, great service at a lowkey spot. There is indoor seating available and desserts to go. I recommend the pink fruit drink. They also have a vegetarian torta. The French fries are a must they are crispy!

La comida esta muy buena pero las trabajadores son muy despotas y groseras como si le estuvieran haciendo un favor a uno. Por este motivo no volvere a ir a este lugar. Yo y toda mi familia tenemos años visitando este lugar pero por el horrible servicio al cliente dejaremos de ir. This place is delicious but the customer service is trash. The employees act like they are doing you a favor and seem to hate their job. They are rude and nasty. Me and my whole family have been coming here for years but will no longer give them our business due to the terrible customer service.

Great food, they're busy but the food goes out relatively quick. We had Tortas, tacos and a burrito. Everything was excellent and I highly recommended this place.
