We really enjoyed our first visit to Top One Mesa, and we will definitely be back! The menu is great, with lots of things to choose from, even if you are not a hot pot person. Speaking of hot pots, the "mini" concept is a great idea. It is a great size for many situations, like solo dining, and the menu makes it easy to order ingredients. One of us had the tasty mini hot pot, and the other had a rice dish and some very good baos. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, including the many hot pot ingredients you can choose from.

4.5/5I'm always up for trying a new spot, especially if hot pot is involved! We got here right at opening on a weekday and it wasn't too busy but more people came in around noon. The menu has a wide variety of items in addition to hot pot, including BBQ and dim sum. I had the mini hot pot. I like how you can really customize your pot in terms of soup base, add ins, starch, and proteins. I had the clear broth with dumplings, roe meatball, fish tofu, vermicelli and waygu brisket. Side note, if you are cilantro adverse I'd advise your server to have them make your hot pot without it otherwise you will have a pile of chopped cilantro invading your broth *shudder.* I liked how the hot pot had a lot of delicious ingredients already included in it such as taro, bok choy and corn. My three add ins were good and the brisket was a decent amount that I gobbled that up quickly. The clear broth was well seasoned and is good enough on its own as a soup. I love having vermicelli with my hot pot since the noodles soak in the broth and there was a plentiful amount for me to eat.Service was friendly and we were checked up on as needed. Our server wasn't totally knowledgeable about the menu though as she didn't know what some of the add in ingredients were and didn't know what seafood was in the mixed seafood other than shrimp. The "mini" hot pot portion itself is pretty mighty! I was full after eating half of it. The ambiance here is nice and relaxing. I'd definitely come back here to try more off the menu.

Mini Hot Pot for One: I got the mini hot pot for one with Tom Yum Spicy soup since it was recommended as the most popular soup.- Soup: Tom Yum Spicy - the soup was very good! For me, it wasn't spicy but the flavor was delicious - savory/sour. - I also got meat ball, dumpling, and fish cake for my add ins. The dumplings were just okay, not very flavored. Also if you leave it in the soup for too long it starts to come apart. I'd probably skip the dumpling and choose something else. - Meat: Prime Angus Beef. It was thin cut and soft! - Vegetable: The hot pot comes with a whole slew of veggies and I don't particularly like all the ones that were included. So I think next time I'll ask for it on the side or for them to not be added. Lastly, as most other hot pot places have a sauce bar, this place does not. The soup was flavorful enough for most of the food in the hot pot but I do wish there was a sauce bar of some sort. My boyfriend got the Classic Fried Rice with beef. He didn't particularly care for it and said beef was slightly dry. We also got the shu mai, har gao, and takoyaki. - Shu Mai: the filling was a little mushy? I would not get it again. - Har Gao: pretty good, but a little pricey for the size of the dumpling - Takoyaki: the takoyaki was very good, crispy on the outside with soft center! Delicious! We would get this again. The service was good. We came on a Sunday afternoon and got seated quickly with no wait. Overall, I would come again and make some tweaks to my hot pot order and maybe try the sizzling plates!

Came by on a Sunday around 4 pm. Fairly busy, but plenty of seating available. Menu had plenty of tasty options and we had such a hard time deciding. Ended up going with the spicy cucumber salad, edamame, a couple of mini hot pots and a sizzling short rib platter. Food came out quickly and tasted very good. Hot pot entrees were heated by sternos underneath so the broth stayed steaming hot. We enjoyed our meal and we definitely appreciated the great service! Would definitely swing by again if in the area.

Been here twice. First time got the hot pot. I had a dietary restriction and I had to get the single serving option. They were kind enough to check and accommodate by make a broth without beef. The portion was large. I had the seafood option, it had quite a few different meats in it. I also tried my friends scallops, probably the best I have had. Was very tender. Second visit got the orange chicken and Thai spicy chilly. Both had really good flavors however the chicken in orange chicken was more tender. Their serving sizes are generally large and of good quality. The service was really good on both instances, did not take too long. The first time we had over ten people and they were quite fast.

My husband and I caught a cold earlier in the week and finally felt better to try out this new hot pot place. We figured we needed some broth based soup to get us over the conjugation. We came on a Friday night and got seated quickly. We both decided on the mini hotpot. I got the sukiyaki broth with angus beef. Everything about this pot is what I needed! Warm, savory, filling and satisfying. My favorites were the tofu items, noodles and veggies. I only wish the beef a bit more lean. The staff were great in the beginning and had to sign them down each time, however it was a busy night, so we understood. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back again. I think next time, we'll share a mini pot.

This newly opened hot pot restaurant har a clean modern style ambience. They not only serve ohot pot but sizzling entrees, and their specialized baos. For the dipping sauce they provide sesame oil, shoyu and some mixed spices to add flavor. I so wish they had more of a diversity when it comes to making your own custom sauce. But the hot pot was great. Everyone in their staff was friendly and accomodating. For lunch, the place wasnt busy. They are a fairly new restaurant so I hope they remain consistent in their food taste & service my next visit. I didnt try their baos but next time I most likely will.

Less than 2 months old! Great quality of food especially with the price. We got the meat lover combo set for hot pot and it was very filling for group of 4. We did the additional soup base so that we can try out 2 soup bases. The clear bone broth is a must get! It was so good! The mushroom soup was good, but bit on the saltier side for me. The combo set comes with meat, vegetables, and udon noodles. Some of the meats came out fattier than we would have liked and they were willing to give us other meats instead to replace them. $69.95 for the combo set and +3 for additional broth. Pan fried beef bao was small and okay. Not worth $8.95 for 4 pieces. Hamachi Kama (yellowtail cheek) was delicious!! Great price at $11.95! I would get this again! They are so sweet to give the sweet custard bao as a birthday dessert! Thank you!!I would come back to try out other items on their menu! They have a variety of things so many things to try still!

The space is nice and clean and spacious. Our server was named Ashley and she was really friendly and helpful. We ordered the popcorn chicken to start as an appetizer and was told it was really good. We thought it was overly breaded and I didn't really taste the chicken. So that was disappointing. However, the individual hot pots were tasty! I had the sukiyaki with wagyu brisket. I would definitely come back to try the sizzling bbq!
