Too Sweet Cakes

Ordered a cake for my son's first birthday and it was perfect! We went with the naked style vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam. It was delicious! Ordering was super easy through the website. Picking up was easy too, the staff were very friendly. Finding the storefront was a little tricky. They are located at the base of an apartment complex across from Aldi. Parking was easy to find in the morning.We will be back to try all the other delicious treats! Thank you, Too Sweet!

Wish I could have visited this place but the doors were locked and the open signs were on. Just a suggestion to update your hours if they have changed and if you're closed please turn off signs. We tried to stop by on Sunday the 16th at 11am. I will try again. If there open I will update my review. Best of luck.

this spot came across my IG feed and I'm a sucker for donuts so we stopped by for a little family coffee date one morning since we were in the area! One thing to note is it is a bit hard to find at first but thankfully I looked at fellow Yelp reviewers and it helped us find it! Literally just look for the leasing office which is on the side of the building that faces ALDI! :) I know the shop's name is too sweet but we figured we would try some savory alongside the sweet to help balance things out lol. I picked out the bacon gouda sandwich in an English muffin. This was a total surprise to us how flavorful it actually was. The English muffin was soft and a little chewy, bacon was crispy, and the cheese was cheesin' I would recommend and get again when we go back because I'm already telling you, we will be back. lol For sweets we got a wild berry pie cronut and cranberry orange cronut. They were both good but I found the wild berry one to be even a little too sweet for me. The cranberry orange one I'd get again and again. It was a perfect combo of both flavors and not crazy sweet. The vibe of this shop is clean and modern with lots of seating inside and outside to hangout for a bit for work or even to socialize. The staff were also nice and attentive. Again, I'd be back to enjoy more pastries and maybe try one of their beverages next time!

If you are looking for a delicious easy breakfast on the go, definitely stop in. Too sweet offers plenty of sweet danishes/croissants and they have some savory options as well. First we tried the bacon gouda egg sandwich, which came on an English muffin. It was delicious! The egg was super soft, the bacon was crispy and the gouda cheese was melty and blended so well. Would definitely get again. We tried the turkey and jalapeño croissant. The outside had a nice cheesy crust to it, but the inside was lacking turkey. We literally couldn't find it, I did a double take and it had the smallest sliver. Even though it tasted good, it was too stingy on the inside. And last we tried the wild berry pie and cranberry orange croissant doughnut. Both were really good. Sweet on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. We definitely preferred the cranberry orange though, loved the citrus flavor to it. It's very nice inside, clean and modern looking. Staff behind the counter were friendly.

Two sweet cakes provided delicious cookies for an elite yelp event, Pallentines on February 13 at the Kiln collaborative workspace on Camelback. They provided decorating pens and sparkles and accoutrements for creating a valentine cookie treat. The cookies were delicious and the station was a fun stop at that event. I will definitely consider using them for my personal future events.

Nestled inside of the Novel Apartments, is Too Sweet Cakes, a quaint and delicious bakery. We had some difficulty trying to find it as the signage was just on their doors, but they are on the eastern end of the complex (by the leasing and nearest to Aldi.)We were greeted immediately but our eyes could not be taken from the beautiful pastry case! They have some many options of baked goods: cakes, cookies, macarons, doughnuts, and croissants.For our visit we just ordered their seasonal berry lemonade, drip coffee, orange cranberry doughnut, pumpkin bread, and churro doughnut. We sat outside the patio so our little one could run around and enjoy the view of the birds.It was very quiet during our visit and very peaceful. We enjoyed our doughnuts, a lot. So much so that our little one preferred our sugary sweets to his pumpkin bread!I am very interested in their cakes and look forward to coming back!

The place was a little hard to find, but it's behind Aldi and on the corner of the Novel apartment buildings (by building 2). The place is very cute and is in the lobby of the apartment leasing office. We went a couple hours before closing and luckily they had plenty of pastries still available. The employees were very kind and answered any questions we had. We tried the croissant donuts in the churro, chocolate, lemon, and maple flavors. My husband's favorite was the maple and mine was the chocolate. It was good, but a little messy, so be sure to grab some napkins!

Was craving a good place for cronuts and found this little gem tucked away near the Newley built apartments They had options for gf/dairy free and vegan! I got the cherry, lemon and churro Cronuts and got one vegan one for my daughter. They were all pretty good with a lot of flavor and good size portions! I did try their chai tea latte but wasn't a fan of that but Cronuts was a big yes! Inside was clean and aesthetically nice! It wasn't too busy when I went and service was great!

This is a cute little bakery ion the level floor of an apartment complex. I have wanted to stop a number of times but parking wasn't easily avaiable so I went on my way. However a few days ago I decided no matter what I was stopping. I am so glad I did because I think I found my new obsession. Croissant donuts. They are flaky and the four flavors I tried were delightful and fun to eat. They have other items that I will try on my next visit. There were cupcakes, macaroons, and breakfast sandwiches. You can grab a cup of coffee and relax or study.

There's no sign outside, Too Sweet Cakes is written on the windows but in white so it's kind of hard to see when you are driving by. There is free parking on the sides. I passed it the first time so wanted to give ya'll a heads up! Too sweets is a cute and modern place when you walk in. Plenty of seating. They sell a variety of coffee, drinks and desserts which you can see displayed in the cases. I was greeted after the girl finished helping the couple ahead of me. She was really nice. I came around 1:30 on a Friday and it wasn't busy. There were still a good variety of desserts to choose from even though it closed at 3. I ordered 2 cronuts to go - the churro and cherry. I love cronuts/doisssnts so I've had my fair share. Sadly these were kind of hard and dry on the exterior. The cherry frosting was hard and didn't taste like cherry. I ended up peeling the inside layers apart to eat since those were not dry. My kids love cronuts but after a couple bites they lost interest...I wanted to love them but I am willing to try it one more time since my friend and sil said they liked them. But I will go in the morning instead, maybe they won't be dry!
