Toca Madera is undeniably a scene. With hip electronic beats, soaring high ceilings, and décor that transports you straight to Tulum, it's the kind of place that feels designed for Instagram. But when it comes to the food, the experience falls flat. The margaritas were standard--nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. The ceviche arrived in a stunning presentation, vibrant and artfully plated, but the flavor didn't live up to the look. It lacked the bright, citrusy punch and fresh seafood essence that makes ceviche shine. If you're coming here, do it for the happy hour. The ambiance alone makes it a fun spot to sip a drink and soak in the scene. Just don't expect the food to impress as much as the décor.

Fun atmosphere, loud music with fire dancers! We were started with the chips and 4 different types of salsa. Then the queso fundido that was served with small tortillas. 3 of us shared the tomahawk. Cool tableside presentation!I loved this place! Everything from the service, the drinks, the dinner and dessert were amazing! Highly recommend. But be prepared to spend a lot of money!

Prior to arrival in Scottsdale I heard amazing things about this restaurant so I decided to check it out. On arrival we were greeted by a doorman and complimentary valet. Once inside the ambiance matched the hype! The restaurant was absolutely beautiful and our waitress was also very informative and didn't lead us astray. Every entree and drink she recommended was amazing, we tried the calamari, Branzino, Prawns, and street corn. The street corn was not what I expected, it was actually just roasted corn with a sprinkle of cheese on top. However the rest of the entrees were excellent. Compliments to the bartender as well, the cocktails were perfectly balanced. Prior to leaving we had a chance to see the fire dance which was a perfect ending to our night. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Scottsdale area! You will not be disappointed.

There was so much hope when entering this beautiful establishment with its modern hacienda feel and elegant indoor outdoor setting. It was a little dark but not to bad. The only negative about the design were all the plants were fake and the trees were full of dust. The service was friendly but slow. The menu was limited to brunch at 3:30 in the afternoon so the selection was not the best. The food was ok and everything lacked flavor. My burger looked amazing but needed taste, they didn't even have mayonnaise but the curly fries were amazing thought! My kids didn't even finish their carne asada tacos because they lacked flavor and my wife's breakfast enchiladas looked amazing but slid lacked flavor and were dry. We left there disappointed and wishing we would have picked somewhere else to eat. If you are looking for flavorful and savory food keep looking.

I had a pretty wowing experience here. I can't wait to return and explore the menu more ! We did make reservations and were promptly seated. Service was amazing as expected courtesy, timely, and helpful. We placed our drink order and within a few minutes our perfect crafted cocktails were brought to the table. While looking over the menu and decided on a trees and appetizers. Our food was promptly brought out; one of the entrees the Rock Chicken was not warm at all, the server without issue replaced the item. We were here for a birthday dinner and a complimentary dessert was brought out for the birthday girl with sparklers and all :) !!Pro tip: it is a little loud in here so make sure know that going in its a very lively environment but also creates an entertaining atmosphere. I loved the complimentary valet ! Please remember to tip these are very kind generous and hardworking people !!!

This restaurant is everything you've seen it to be on social media. I cannot recommend enough that tourist come here on a visit to Arizona. It was incredibly beautiful. I only have one flaw is that it is very loud in this restaurant. It is not really meant for intimacy, but it is very sexy and I would definitely recommend for birthday gatherings. The service was good. We had a very nice waiter and our food was so delicious. I ordered a steak that was cooked to perfection. It came with a compost butter and I also got a side of the mac & cheese now overall this restaurant is absolutely 3 to 4 dollar signs expensive but it is so delicious. You definitely need to try it for your experience in Scottsdale.

Had a work dinner at Toca Madera recently, 9 of us. My first time trying it. Not a shocker that I'll describe the place as entertaining and full of high energy, fire dancers, flaming drinks, flaming food. Fire... everywhere...!Where I think it stood out is it was surprisingly still relaxing and laid back. I imagine this is due to all the fire pits and comfortable seating throughout. It was a great evening. Food was pretty good. I think we ordered just about everything on the menu. We turned it into tapas style and kept passing everything around. The flaming tomahawk steak stood out of course, I mean... how could it not... they engulf it in flames at your table to sear it. That is really cool. Although, a couple of my slices were stringy and I had toss them aside. The oysters were great. Sides were awesome. Some of the white fish dishes were awesome. The cocktails were fantastic, solid attention to detail went into them.Service was on point. Tons of staff always coming by the table constantly keeping glasses full and lighting stuff on fire.I'm going to bring my wife here for a date night down the road. It's worth going back for.

Toca Madera - A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience! From the moment we walked into Toca Madera, we were blown away by the ambience. The space is elegant, vibrant, and perfectly set the tone for an amazing evening. It's the kind of place where you feel both relaxed and excited at the same time. But what really stood out was the service--absolutely top-notch across the board. Every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel incredibly special. Our waitress was especially wonderful, adding a personal touch that really made the night unforgettable. Now, let's talk about the food. First of all, the chips and pico are to die for--the perfect start to the meal. The calamari? 10/10. It was crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The guacamole with plantain chips was a genius twist and absolutely delicious. As for the wagyu steak... I've had my fair share of great steaks, but this one was on another level--by far the best steak I've ever had.The Carne Asada Caesar Salad was another highlight. Every bite was full of flavor, and it complemented the other dishes perfectly. Honestly, everything we had was fantastic. As if all that wasn't enough, our waitress surprised us at the end with a lovely dessert and a toast with alcohol-free champagne to help us celebrate our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful touch that truly made the evening even more special.Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, and I wholeheartedly recommend Toca Madera. From the ambience to the food to the exceptional service, it's a 10/10 in every way. I can't wait to come back!

Aiden was our waiter, and he did an amazing job of making us feel like we were his most important guests in the room. Gave excellent recommendations for drinks and food choices, and was always there to check on us. He also asked another favorite waiter (Gavin) from our last visit, to stop by our table to say hello. Incredible service, great energy and ambience and delicious food and drinks. Absolutely one of our favorite stops when we're in Scottsdale!
