Thirsty Lion

I really enjoyed this place! We went last Friday after shopping and I am so glad we stopped in :)My FIL and hubby got the wings to start (the buffalo sauce and ranch were perfect) and both got the bbq its cheddar burger. I just had surgery 5 weeks ago to limited on my portions and what I can have but I stole 1/4 of my hubs burger and OMG I would have to say it was the best burger I have ever had. The flavor and juiciness stood out! I did snag a couple bites of fries and they were so good as well! I truly wish I could have physically ate more because of how tasty it was!Definitely hope other locations are just as good because I would love to enjoy one closer to home

We've eaten at the Thirsty Lion multiple times, but today was the first time we had brunch and oh was it delightful. The restaurant has the best decor m, the seating is really comfortable. The red pattern, leather barstools are so nice. I also like the fact that the music they play they also have the music video playing.Our waitress McKenzie was excellent & I was a bit needy since we are celebrating #92percent day. I kept asking for stuff (extra napkin, hot sauce, ketchup). All of our meals were an 8 out of 10. The egg on my Benedict I would've liked it a bit runny and the waffle didn't hold. The hash had a lot of peppers and onions. If it was more potatoes in lieu of those things it would've been better.

Don't mind me as I catch up on things I should have reviewed long ago, lol. Thirsty Lion in Chandler, AZ is a cool spot to get a few drinks, chow down on some apps or a full on meal.Super casual establishment with a bar where you can catch the latest game, or enJOY some cocktails and apps. The service was great, as we went in just prior to closing. We only had cocktails, but they were fantastic as far as presentation and taste!Prices are not bad at all, as they're pretty competitive with the market. Accessible restrooms and parking lot are available. I'd love to come in and try out their food one day. Trust me when I say I will return!

Good food. Wife assortment on the menu. Good service. Kinda sports bar like with lots of high top tables. Moderate price.

On a business trip and never hearing about this place I decided to give it a try. The menu is a bit perplexing because it's hard to figure out their identity. I understand it's a gastropub however they have southern, Asian, Irish, as well as your standard pub grub. So I wasn't really sure what they specialized in. I finally pulled the trigger on the spicy sausage Mac n' cheese and it did not disappoint. Nice heat and not shy of plenty of cheese. Very good. The cherry on top was the service.

Food was awesome. Very fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was good nice atmosphere. I was shocked to see orange chicken on menu but it was awesome

I think this may have been the best French Dip Sandwich I've ever had. I don't really know what it was, but I think it was the addition of a cheese crisp in the sandwich. The meat was super tender, the bread was toasted, the au jus and the sauce in the sandwich was just all so good!

Service was outstanding. We walked in with TV channel requests and they accommodated. We asked for recommendations and they offered menu items that were just right. We went during happy hour so got 3 apps: spin/art dip, calamari and cauliflower. All were worth the tasting and sharing. I ordered the tuna bowl and oh my! It was huge, super fresh and best of all delish. Loved everything about this place.

5 stars! I had the chicken sandwich for lunch at Thirsty Lion, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were spot-on, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The service was also fantastic--the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. This place is my go-to spot whenever I'm in Arizona for meetings. Great food, great atmosphere, and consistently excellent service! Highly recommend.

Good food but the environment is loud and service wasn't great as they initially didn't want to accept my daughter's CA drivers license to order a cocktail because it was vertical and not horizontal, even though she is of legal drinking age, and had to get manager's approval to do so. The server also talked up the daily flatbread but then once we ordered it, he had to come back to advise they had run out of it. There was also a mixup between two servers where each thought the other was bringing a dish and neither did, so we had to inquire about that. The ahi poke is delicious no matter how they serve it (stack, bowl, salad, etc) and their brussel sprouts salad was a hit, but the fish and chips were a miss as the fish tasted like it had been previously frozen, and the pork carnitas tacos weren't as flavorful as expected.
