The Little Gym of Gilbert

Upset is an understatement of how I felt. I scheduled an Intro class for 12/28 at 10:15am. I have a 17mo old. Any parent knows the preparation it takes to get our toddlers to a class on time. We live 45 mins away from this location but my son's grandmother was visiting from out of town, and we figured we do something fun with him. I scheduled the class and paid. Only to show up on time and the girls tell me they were closed. They were hosting a girls party. I'm so confused why I wasn't called for the cancellation. NOWHERE on the site did it say it was closed. Even google showed as open. I will NOT be returning or recommending to anyone.

Really a shame because our little one loved this class, but we probably won't be signing up for another season. We had a similar experience as another post here regarding the make up classes. We kept our girl out for 2 classes towards the end of the summer sessions because she was ill, which seemed like the right thing to do. Now we are wanting to attend class to make up for the 2 we missed out on (and paid for!), but we aren't able to. The only option available is to pay for another season. I tried to speak to a manager and was told he'd call me back, but it's been over a week so I doubt there would be any attempt to resolve. I would not recommend unless you are positive you can attend all classes, otherwise you lose out.

My rockstar niece and her bestie have been taking gymnastics here for a couple of years, now. It is a bright and welcoming environment, and very safe - the padded floors should be everywhere they are so great - with learned and caring staff and coaches. My sweetie goes once a week and learns all of the apparatus, and the necessary skills to be healthy and active. Several times a year, they have performances, and family and friends attend and celebrate the growth and grit of our littles. They even give all of the athletes a medal. After two years of observing my niece's budding Olympic dreams, and as a lifetime gymnast myself, I'd suggest anyone enroll their child here, where they are well cared for, encouraged, and loved!

I've been bringing my granddaughter here for a year. She loves it! Mr. Ralph is amazing with the kids.

Love this gym so much, both my kids go here (1 year old and 3 year old)! Huge shoutout to Ms. Jaylee, she is the best teacher ever!!! She is very kind, patient and sweet to both of my kids. I love how she cares about the kids in her class and tries to make sure they are all having fun and comfortable. She is amazing and the reason why we love this gym so much and will keep coming back!

I do not leave reviews - frustrating experience to try out a class. Had a 19 month and 36 month old wanting to try out the class. My 3 year old was nervous so I booked a class wanting to do parent present for all. When we arrived, was told she was told she was too just over age of this particular and could sit in the waiting room by herself while I went in with the 19 month old. No flexibility with the class not even half full. Would not recommend.

My 16 month old loves this class. They have some structured play at the beginning and just let them explore. Super fun for littles.

I rarely write reviews, but beware that this company deliberately makes it very difficult to cancel a membership. We made an online request for cancellation, spoke with multiple staff members, received emails saying our cancellation was "in process", and have continued to get charged for classes our son hasn't attended in over a month. Today we called for a refund and were informed that we won't receive one for an over $100 charge because we didn't fill out a cancellation form, except we did fill out said form over a month ago and were told it was processing. If something happens during the month and you can't attend classes, they won't give you a partial refund. They deliberately make it challenging to cancel memberships, are incredibly unhelpful and unaccommodating, and will send you to jump through hoops, while you continue to get charged for services you aren't using.

Extremely shady business practices, as others have said, and unfortunately you won't know that until you try to cancel.I called and asked when I needed to cancel by. Ralph told me I just needed to cancel 2 days prior to payment coming out (he told me to cancel by the 5th because my payment comes out on the 7th.) I called 3 days ahead just to be absolutely sure there were no issues because I had read and was aware that they make it difficult to cancel. I was then told by a different employee that you have to cancel 2 WEEKS in advance, which directly conflicts with what I was told before. They told me I will have to pay again even though I do not want to continue and do not plan to come back - especially after this shady billing issue! I feel like they do not actually care about the people coming there, and I feel like I was lied to on purpose so they could charge me again. It's a bait and switch if you're promised one thing, they go back on what they say, and do another.Oh, and when you cancel, all the lesson makeups you already paid for, are void. (In my case, 5 lessons, over $100 in classes - void.)My child was sick a lot when taking this class because there are sickly kids allowed to participate in class, and therefore had a lot of makeups to be done. Beware that you will get to go about half the time of what you actually pay for! And do not trust them when it comes to billing and any policies they "say" they have. They will lie to you and they only care about money here!

Super disappointed to exit the little gym as my toddler enjoyed this class, but unfortunately their "policy" was ridiculous enough for us to leave for good. Don't be fooled when you buy classes. Their "make up classes" are not true make ups. If you don't use them in their allotted time frame (one per week), you LOSE them, unless, of course, you purchase new classes. Then you're stuck in a cycle paying for classes and losing them if your schedule does not allow you to go weekly. NOT TO MENTION the few same-weeks make ups I tried to schedule- the class was full and I couldn't even schedule that week. Seems like a place like this shouldn't have such a strict policy considering many parents work. They lost a customer because they didn't want to give me 3 make up classes. I use to work in a gym for years selling personal training. There are much more fair and reasonable ways to do this. I would not have left otherwise. Horrible policy.
