My partner and I got married at The Cottage about a month ago, and although I've never rented a venue before for anything so don't have much to compare to, I can't imagine things going much better than they did.Dina (and later on, Destiny) were both extremely responsive to our questions throughout the process, understanding and flexible with last-minute changes (like when we missed our final meeting because we had it in our calendar for the wrong day), and just all around lovely people throughout the planning process. The day of, the team kept us calm and there were also little thoughtful touches, like Destiny giving my partner a handkerchief before the ceremony to prepare for the tears, and glasses of water at the sweetheart table before dinner to make sure we were well hydrated. The venue was also generally beautiful and cozy. We got a lot of compliments from friends and family on the food and the overall vibes. Really glad we chose The Cottage! Totally recommend.

To say we are disappointed in our wedding experience at The Cottage would be an understatement. Below is a list of everything that went wrong at our wedding:- The alter did not have a light. Dina, the owner, was aware that we would have a night ceremony and at no point did she tell us that they did not have lights at the alter. Impossible to read vows without a light!- The coordinator, Destiny, served our cupcakes with her hands. She literally carried cupcakes in her hands to our guests.- They did not put our cupcakes on plates or offer anyone a fork. So embarrassing that our guests were served cupcakes literally out of someone's hands and then expected to eat them off of the table with no plate or utensils.- They served our champagne in small shot glasses! We asked at the appointment if they had plastic champagne glasses, and we were told yes. Yet they didn't use them for our event at all! I guess a small wedding means very little to them.- We provided 6 bottles of champagne and they barely used 2 bottles. They gave our guests barely two sips of champagne even though we had enough for every person to have a full glass of champagne and then some!- Destiny left our reception in the middle of the event to "go eat dinner". Dina had already left our wedding and never even told us she was leaving. We had nobody in our reception to help with anything for quite awhile except one bartender.- Dina promised to get Dr Pepper (my husband's favorite drink) during our final appointment. She never got it for him for the reception. - We couldn't hear ANY of the music while we walked down the aisle before or after the ceremony. We expressed to them no less that 5-6 times how important the music was to us personally, and then we couldn't even hear any of it!- They jammed together 23 people at 3 tables where people would have had zero space ... so at the last minute they had to add another table after we had to ask for it.- They messed up the color of our linens.- Destiny turned off our song for the 1st dance right in the middle of our dance. It was so embarrassing to literally yell across the room to tell her to turn it back on.We gave them every detail about our wedding from the songs, to the alcohol, to our preferences about seating, etc etc every time we communicated, and they still below it. This was not the wedding of my dreams by far!

Overall the day was good. I liked the setting, the lights, the heaters, and the backyard feeling was exactly what the bride wanted. The food was good. The person who set up the decor did a lovely job and the bartender was very sweet. The planning experience felt like say one thing and then do another. Each time we talked the answers changed and in the end she tacked on more fees that she said she would not charge. It felt like she was just saying what we wanted to hear. With so few choices in the East Valley for weddings with less than 40 guests it was a good option because initially it was affordable. It was a nice venue but ended up costing considerably more.If you decide on this quaint location get everything in writing or they will add/change charges for things that she said would be included.

We had our wedding here 11/11/23 Everyone couldn't stop telling us how beautiful it was. We had the best experience from start to finish with the whole team. We decided to pay for the table decorations from them so that we didn't have to do it our selves and everything turned out perfect. I am truly grateful to the cottage team for making our special day so perfect !

We just had our wedding at the Cottage this past Saturday and it was everything I dreamed it would be and more. Dina and Destiny made our day perfect! I brought in some decorations of my own and honestly didn't need to because the Cottage was perfect on its own. All of my guests kept telling me what a great job I did decorating and I couldn't take the credit because it was all Dina and her team. Our DJ Ron was amazing, the cake from Lesley's Cakes was perfect and so delicious, the photographer, Santiago, was great, and everyone had a blast. I am so happy we decided to go with the Cottage for our wedding. Seriously no complaints at all. Thank you Dina and Destiny!

I REALLY wish there was a rating higher than 5 Stars! This place deserves double or triple that number!Last week was our daughters wedding and Dina, Sal and the entire staff knocked it out of the park! Let's start with the venue itself. It is gorgeous and a perfect setting for a wedding. It has great areas for the service itself, plenty of spots for great photos, dancing, gazebos, ballroom, brides suite and on and on. They can make it as fancy or as laid back as your want it.The staff! We can't say enough about the entire staff and all the vendors we used for the day. Dina is amazing! She was involved since day one of the planning all the way through to the end of the reception. Even going above and beyond helping the bride with a dress issue just before the wedding. She made sure it was a spectacular day and nothing was going to let the bride and groom down. Chef Sal is the amazing genius behind the food. Everyone raved about the food after the day was done. I have been to many wedding receptions and there has never been any better cuisine served. He even made the desserts when what the bride wanted wasn't available through the cake vendor. The cannolis and the cheese cake are out of this world! The rest of the staff was great also from the planning of the decor to the layout of the wedding they handled everything and made everything much less stressful. Thanks to everyone here. One special shout out to Rachel the dj. She kept everyone moving and grooving and was our acting MC that kept the night moving along. She made the night so memorable. Her business is run under DJRachelZ on Facebook. The food.! OMG I could write a book long review on just the food! Sal certainly outdid himself in the kitchen. Chianti braised beef, chicken picatta, tortellini in pesto all amazing. The salad, vegetables and desserts were the absolute best. Almost forgot the appetizers, caprese skewers and marinated steak skewers.. There were none left they were so good! All in all we highly recommend The Cottage Wedding Venue. You won't be disappointed. If there are any questions please feel free to ask! Thanks again Dina, Sal and everyone else!

We met with Dina. We did the open house and met many vendors. We elected to keep most of the services in house using the florist who was great, the cake baker was great, the minister April also did a great job. We did a food tasting to select our menu and it was great and one of the only flaws. We got the backup staff on our wedding day and the chicken picata was awful and tough and tasted nothing like the sample. Many of our guests said the same. The bartender wore a sweatshirt and Jeans while our server wore yoga pants. Easily could have been a 5 but just missed so I have to go 4 stars. It was also odd the owners felt no need to follow up with us about our experience during their absence from our wedding. Our guests liked the casual elegance of the venue.

Dina and Kailey are AMAZING! They communicate so well and everything was perfect. The vision for our perfect day was SPOT ON! I couldn't have asked for anything more. The DJ, florist and photographer included in our package were everything we could have wanted and more. If you are looking for a low key but also classy wedding this is the place to go (and affordable) all of our guests have said this was the best wedding they have been to, and I believe them!

I recently attended a baby shower and the whole venue is so beautiful! All of the little details made the event amazing. The brunch food was SO GOOD and the staff was very attentive and sweet. I highly recommend this for any event.
