What a difference a few years makes! The buffet has been removated with new carpeting, furniture and lighting. The color scheme is more welcoming than before. The quality of food has improved as well.Las Vegas Style Buffet in Arizona.Staff was courteous and friendly.Dining area was comfy. This time around I felt like there was more room to move around. The food stations were labeled and clean. So many options to choose from! The omellete station didn't have a ling line and neither did the carving station. The Italian Station looked yummy but I wasn't craving pasta and pizza.I enjoyed the dessert section - especially the gelato! At each station I was greeted by staff.Overall, a very pleasant visit.I'll be back for sure.

It was my mom's choice on where to eat, being Mother's Day and all ;) so off we went to gorge on the best all-you-can-eat that Maricopa has to offer! The buffet today had a good selection of surf, turf, and dessert. Meats included lamb chops, a prime rib carving station, grilled steak (You can request your temperature preference too), and fried chicken. Seafood choices included Dungeness crab, snow crab legs, shrimp cocktail, oyster shooters and sweet and sour lobster. There was also a breakfast station with various eggs, a delicious looking crab Benedict, potatoes, pancakes and sausage. In the back there was an Asian food area, and they did have some Southwestern influenced options too like guacamole and menudo. Dessert was an extensive collection of gelato, chocolate fountain, cakes, pies, and bread pudding. While the variety was nice the execution was just average. Most of the meat and crab was too salty for my tastes. Dishes like the crab Benedict looked wonderful but was just OK. The English muffin wasn't very toasted and while there was a good amount of crab on it, it didn't really have any flavor. I did enjoy the chocolate fountain with the fresh fruit and the gelato selection though.Service was great. Dishes were taken away promptly and drinks refilled as needed. For me personally I'd only go here again if I were going to be at the casino anyways. If you are a preferred card member you can get seated faster if there is a line and a discount for the buffet. We paid around $20 per person for the buffet with a discount for being a card member but I think regular price for today was a little over $30 per person. I'm not sure if this is the price all the time or if it was special holiday pricing for today.3.5/5.

Good customer service. It's obvious the staff is trained to greet everybody. I had a very attentive server clearing my dirty plates and refilling my ice tea. $32 for the seafood buffet is pricey. Selection is limited but I enjoyed the food. Not worth it if you don't plan to eat crab legs, oysters or shrimp. They got good Mexican and American classic food, but the Asian station has to go away. They usually have 2 Asian entrees, fries and steam rice and noodles. Perhaps they keep that there so people can load up on carbs and get full quick :).

Oh I just love their seafood buffet. Yes it is expensive yes you were going to pay over $25 but you know what their crabs are delicious and the desserts are just as good and most of the food I enjoyed. I have to say the clam chowder was my only disappointment I feel like the last time I came it was the best clam chowder but this time there was not a lot of clams. And it just did not taste as good. But one flaw out of everything is OK I will have to say the wait is always horrible and that's only thing I hate

I love this place, I always go almost every Saturday with my family because of their seafood night. We usually arrive at 9pm and eat there till 10pm.They have a good amount of variety of foods to choose from!Only little inconvenience is how busy it can get and how that makes the staff fall behind on tables. But otherwise, it's simply amazing.

Enjoyed a Sunday lunch buffet. They offered breakfast foods on one side and lunch on the other. Salad bar was a bit small, only basic selections. Did carve ham and beef plus had some Mexican selections and a few Asian choices. Enjoyed a wide selection of desserts. Compared to other casino buffets this was average.

Plain and simple not good. At $30 a person you expect a lot, and quality matters.. the selection was poor I was shocked by how bad it was. Nothing was seasoned properly, it was all so bland and just bad. My appetite was ruined when I went to get a pizza slice and there was a entire layer of flour, not a dusting it legitimately looked like someone put half a cup of flour under the crust. The layout of the Buffet makes no sense and everything is sort of all mixed together. The establishment itself is absolutely stunning very comfortable and cozy. I wouldn't eat here again or recommend it

This review of the buffet at (Harvest Buffet) Harrah's Ak-Chin in Maricopa is based on the opinion of our group of ten. How many stars (2 or 3 varied) We were looking forward to a good seafood buffet. We've all experienced many casino buffets and even seafood ones. Since we were getting together, we were hoping for a great one.Problem number one was that we did not call to check on the price. Egads! If we had, I'm sure we would have chosen another place. The price was $31.99 and it definitely was not worth it. There is no way any of us will return. That is for sure. The buffet was okay, not great. My husband loves prime rib. Was he ever disappointed! The piece he received was very overcooked and tough. He had trouble "sawing" through it with his knife. Some of the crab was cold and dry. Clams were good. Some of the salads and mixes portions were pre-determined for you. We've experienced much better choices of sides elsewhere. The line was very long and very slow unless you were a Platinum player. Getting refills for our drinks took a while. Due to construction parking was horrendous. As I said, we've all had much better seafood buffets and at much better prices. Giving it a 3-star is giving the buffet the benefit. At first I thought about a 3 but then decided a 2 star rating fit it better. Obviously, we would not return.

It's not the best buffet on the strip. Lots of hot food items are cold. Chefs aren't friendly, enthusiastic & proud of their food like other strip buffets. Selection isn't as great as the other buffets. I prepaid online & was sat promptly, but there was hardly a line on the walk-in side anyway. Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 other buffets on the strip which I'd prefer next time.

Hi we have been regulars of this casino for the last 15 months. The Buffet is so poorly excuited for a major casino like Harrah's, Caesar's to allow this to happen is hard to believe. Prime Rib that has a gray skin that looks and tastes just as sad. A desert display befiting a grade school cafeteria. A new pizzav pasta selection that has flopped. Need i say more. Send in the professional chef's and get this place up to our standards.
