I visited The Bread And Honey House with folks from work. This is the second location, and if heard good things about it. I had been in this building when it was another business, and they have really brightened it up allot. There are bright murals on the wall. I especially like the honey bear bottles painted on the wall wearing different outfits. The little police officer honey bear had a Mesa PD badge! You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. The girl at the register was so cheerful and helpful. We ordered various items from the menu, and everyone was very happy with their food. Portions are really big. I ordered the chopped chicken salad, and it was fantastic! There were way more toppings (chicken, bacon, avocado, egg) than actual greens. It was especially good because there is melted cheese on the cut-up chicken. It was quite filling because it was so "meaty". I didn't care for the ranch dressing, but I'm all fairness, that is more of a Denise thing .This place will definitely be on repeat for me. Great food and close to my work in downtown Mesa makes for a great spot for me

We decided to pop in because were were hungry and it was lunch time. Since it was our first time here, we weren't sure how to navigate the restaurant, but the set up is such that you order at the front, pay, then sit down and they bring your food to the table. There's also self-serve coffee air pots and all the fixings at a table along the wall in the dining area.I ordered the chilaquiles and it was quite good but the sauce was pretty spicy, so beware if you're not into spicy. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast, but said the coffee was lukewarm. Now, some people like lukewarm coffee but we don't.... has to be piping hot. Granted, it's hard to keep coffee piping hot in the self-serve air pots, so we went to the front counter and ordered a capucchino which was made fresh and very good. The service is wonderful, the server was pleasant and the place does make decent food. Prices are reasonable too. I wish them much success in their new restaurant, and we will definitely be back when time permits.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming little restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality that made me feel right at home. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a homey vibe that instantly puts you at ease. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or a quiet solo brunch. The decor is tasteful and adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the avocado toast with roasted potatoes, and it was absolutely to die for. The avocado was perfectly ripe and creamy, generously spread on a slice of hearty, toasted bread. The roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a delight, and I found myself savoring each mouthful. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, and I can't wait to go back and try more. The excellent service, combined with the delicious food and homey vibe, makes this restaurant a true hidden gem. Highly recommended!

Had a chance to try out the brand new MESA Location of The Bread and Honey House today with Mom, & we really enjoyed it!It was such a great visit, Mom and I loved our meals and we even had a chance to meet Chef Javi as well, very nice guy! Highly recommend you check out this new location. Counter order/table service: breakfast/lunch/beverages, & 21+beverages (coming soon I think). Our hostess & server was friendly and welcoming, and we were encouraged to find a table to review the menu prior to ordering, which was very nice. The new space in Mesa, Az is bright, open, clean, with plenty of parking and we loved the beautiful mural artwork inside.Mom and I tried the chilaquiles w/eggs, avocado toast w/fresh fruit, & we both had some freshly brewed green tea w/sliced oranges. Everything was fresh, delicious, & filling! *We both agreed that we will definitely be back to try a few of their more popular items, like the Cubano Breakfast Sandwich, Huevos Rancheros, & French Toast...

Really cute place! Outside remodel of the building looks amazing and the inside is pleasant and clean. Place order at the counter, grab a number and seat yourself. Self-serve water station (free) and coffee ($). Quick and simple breakfast. Nice spacious seating. It looks like the bar/counter is still in progress and menu shows alcoholic beverages still to come too.

Well my YELPies, here we BRUNCH again! We decided to try this cute new spot! It's quaint and has such friendly staff. You know me and my customer service... You will be greeted with a smile and hello! Because this location in Mesa just recently opened, alcohol options aren't available YET. However, it's coming. Anywho, we decided to try the Breakfast Bowl, The Breakfast Burger and The Omelette. Everything came out fresh and again with a smile! Your options are plenty. Please make sure stop by this little spot and have some YELP'N good food! Happy Saturday

I got Scott's Chile Relleno Burrito. It was quite fresh and well presented. The sauce was too pepper-heavy for me, leaving it feeling more one-dimensional than I wanted, but overall the flavor was great. The service was fast and kind. The vibe is laid back and quiet for lunchtime.
