Tempe Blooms

Last year was the first year of Tempe Blooms a flower and art festival. I was so glad to see that it was going to become an annual spring event. This year looks to be even better. Last year was an unusually warmer than average weekend. This meant that late in the day on Sunday, some of the flowers in the elaborate flower displays looked a bit wilted by the heat. My friends and I last year really enjoyed walking around and enjoying the creativity of the local florists and muralists. There are many places to stop and shop or have an afternoon drink along Mill Avenue. I am very much looking forward to this year's event. Both locals and tourists should definitely go and explore.
