Tapas Al Gusto By Letty’s Cocina

Oh my gosh. What a blessing it was to meet Letty and try one of her tacos! I always go to the USPS store next door, and I always notice this little truck nearby. I did some research online and this is a full-blown food truck with weekly hours!! After reading the rave reviews, I knew I had to stop by. I was greeted by Letty, who is the very friendly main owner and also makes the tacos from scratch. I ordered a Spicy Shrimp Taco, and she went straight to work. I could see her using the fresh ingredients and grilling them up. My taco came out in 2 minutes and was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The sauces, veggies and shrimp all complimented each other so well. I will be back soon to try more tacos from this sweet and hard working woman.

I'm going to start this review with I drove all the way from South Phoenix to Queen Creek just for Tapas Al Gusto. Letty is amazing and she is such a beautiful spirit inside and out. I ordered a whole bunch of food and unfortunately did not take one picture. If you're in the Queen Creek area, I highly recommend stopping by and trying this amazing food. I recommend pretty much everything on her menu.

The food here is amazing! The tacos were the best I've ever had. We got fish, Birria, shrimp and carne asada. All were amazing. Never had anything like it. You will be missing out if you don't give it a try!

These tacos were unique and very good! Letty was very nice and blessed me with a cold water bottle, and even a free birria taco just because it was my first time! I also had the carne asada and chicken chimichurri taco, all of them were excellent

Excellent service, quality ingredients, and such a great value. Letty is so kind and she puts so much love into her food. She is a very experienced chef. The tacos are huge and delicious! packed with meat. The burrito must have been the size of my head! The shrimp taco was my favorite but everything was so good! . Every ingredient was so thoughtful. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner, Letty! So blessed to have you in the community!

This place is awesome! The food is so good and the people that own it are so nice. We got a ton of food and the bean dip and ribeye burrito was legit! Definitely will be coming back!

The quality of food at this Food Truck is AMAZING! We ordered the La Sabrosa Quesadilla (grilled chicken with melted cheese, tropical, black beans, and organic squash). Absolutely the best quesadilla we have ever had. Very generous portion too. I tried the Mediterranean grilled chicken taco that was served with cucumber, pico, feta, tzatziki, avocado, and on a warm pita. It was like a chicken Giro. Phenomenal! We can't wait to go back and try other items. The owner is the sweetest, nicest lady ever! Such a unique variety of food and everything is made fresh. She said it is Spanish-French-Indian fusion food. If you haven't been here to try this food truck, you are really missing out!

My spouse and I absolutely love the food and the family. Every time we have gone, the owner and family has been so friendly and welcoming, and the food can speak for itself, seriously delicious! We are fortunate they are always at the Queen Creek food truck Fridays, definitely recommend!

Incredible quality ingredients. Noticeably plumb shrimp with great snap were cooked perfectly. Carne asada had a terrific char....think of high-quality beef steak, thickly sliced and served as tacos al carbonThe barbacoa was so incredibly tender and the chile used to season the meat had wonderful depth of flavor. I will request a bit less crema when I order this again....let the meat stand on its own. The tacos are LARGE and their prices are very low for the quality, quantity and expert preparation. The challenge for me is that when I return, do I order other items or go right back to the 3 tacos that I enjoyed so much. Lastly, the mother and son who operate the business were so friendly and enjoyably chatty. It was a very nice experience, beginning to end.

Tapas Al Gusto is a must try!!! My girlfriend and I just went here for the first time and I already can't wait to go back! We had seen amazing reviews but it still exceeded my expectations. Such a cute little taco truck :) We've been to many but this is by far our favorite, I'll include photos but we devoured the first few items before capturing a photo Also their energy is so good, very kind people, they deserve all the business!If you're in the area definitely stop by! (And if you're not, make the trip it's worth it)Also good to note: we couldn't finish everything and took it home for leftovers and it was STILL delicious!
