Q: What did the bubble tea say to the milk?A: We are a pearl-fect match for one another, you and I.I was actually down the street grabbing coffee at a new shop when we stumbled across this spot. Did I have two drinks on a Saturday? I sure did! I was double-fisting Vietnamese coffee and a sugary Mango Duo Duo!I got the Mango Duo Duo here and stole sips of the Blueberry with Cheese Foam. I hate to say it, but I wasn't impressed with this place. Both drinks were oddly bland. This was one drink I wasn't too interested in finishing, which, if you know me, it's surprising to admit!Nonetheless, I wish Tan Cha much success.

All the drinks here are all very good and not super sweet at all. I very much enjoy the mango yakult but i tasted more of the yakult more than the mango. I went near closing hours and I love he decorations here. The drinks came out quick and it was super yummy

Mid-tier boba with minimal ambience. Was eating at the kbbq joint next door (also mid) and stopped in for some boba. We ordered five drinks and were the only ones there. The drinks came out slow and out of order. As we watched them make the drinks we noticed most of them were powdered based. Didn't seem the best quality. For the drink flavor themselves it all was surprisingly bland. I've had plenty of taro drinks and the cream cheese topping, and the drink looked the part, but didn't taste good. The taro milk tea itself was watery, indicating it wasn't really taro. The cream cheese was also watery, and very yellow which was odd. The boba was fine, but not the best I had either. Overall I would skip the place. There's plenty of better places to choose from.

My son and I are avid boba lovers. We love to try all the boba spots we can. Since we aren't usually in the area and we happened to be on this side of town for the afternoon i figured we would give it a try. So upon entering the parking lot it was pretty packed since it shares a lot with krave Korean bbq and Ted's hot dog. Anyways we walk in and it's painfully quiet, don't even remember even getting a hello welcome in type of warm greeting to be honest. Strike one!We order our drinks (brown sugar milk tea for my son) and the mango duo duo sounded interesting because i tend to love yakult drinks or fruity beverages. My son's drink was pretty good. Mine on the other hand was okay. It grew on me after awhile just the initial first few sips were different from what i was expecting. My son is beyond social and not exactly well spoken quite yet. So he was trying to make conversation with the lady behind the counter. Now if she was engaging during our visit i might have considered making another trip back to try more but since it was us usually trying to make conversation i don't think this will have a return visit.

My boba sistah (and mini boba sistah) were craving a boba drink after lunch, so we decided to try out this new spot. Tempe is no stranger to boba shops, and there is another one in this same complex and across the street. Competition! I like that they had a top 10 list of their drinks, the #1 being a royal Ceylon tea with tiramisu? Never would've thought of that as a topping. It interested me until my companion noticed they had some featured drinks advertised on the counter, and sharing the same foodie brain, we both were intrigued by the roasted brûlée milk tea. I ordered a large with 50% sugar level, less ice, and honey boba (already comes with). The price tag is higher on these drinks, but honestly it was worth the splurge. I usually try a classic milk tea when visited a new boba shop but I'm glad I tried something extra. I took my first sip and was immediately satisfied by the flavor of the smooth creme brûlée and the burnt sugar on top. What a concept! I'm glad this location isn't close to home, otherwise I might be here a little too often. The balance of the less-sweet milk tea and the honey boba with the creme brûlée topping was really nice, and I found myself getting every last drop once I finished my drink.Service was great and the shop itself is so cute. The seating is unique and there is fun decoration that makes for a good photo opportunity. We saw a few gals come in and do just that. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again, that creme brûlée is going to be on my mind for a while.

First time trying out Tan Cha. They are local and I always like to give business to the neighborhood. I opted for a mango cheese foam this time around. The mango was smooth and the cheese foam had that nice salty taste to balance out with the sweetness from the mango. Overall it was very tasty. The boba wasn't anything exciting, I prefer brown sugar boba but they don't offer it. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean inside. Cute aesthetic. I would come back to try something else.

The Royal Ceylan Milk Tea w.Tiramisu is one of their popular drinks advertised in store. I got normal sweetness and didn't change anything about the order. I have to say there wasn't nothing special about the milk tea. I felt like at 100% sweetness it wasn't sweet. I did like the boba texture. The staff were friendly and the boba shop was really clean.

Never had a Yakult based boba before! I had the Passion Fruit Duo Duo. It was super tasty and even comes with toppings crystal boba + coco jelly. It was more balanced than a typical fruit tea. Staff was super attentive and able to make suggestions. A great add to the many neighborhood boba options.

I am not a connoisseur of Boba drinks, but I am trying my best to get into them. On a whim, we decided to try this little shop down the street. They have been open for about a year and they have a very vast menu. As someone who doesn't know what they like until they've tried it, I was a little overwhelmed. I have a love-hate relationship with Boba. Initially I like the Boba balls but after a while, it's just too much chewing for me and I lose interest. The staff member let me try the Boba first before I committed, which I really appreciate it. The drink itself was kind of what I expected. It wasn't terribly sweet which was a pleasant surprise for me and I love that the Boba are served warm. All in all, I would go back. I don't believe it was terribly expensive either.

Stopped in to get a drink because it was on my way to an appointment. I was the only one there so the service was great. She understood that I didn't want the drink sweet and made the sugar adjustment perfectly but the drink wasn't good at all. I ordered the Grapefruit Tea. I like places that use fresh fruit or at least fresh juice and this drink seemed to have neither. It was very artificial tasting and the grapefruit pieces that were in the drink seemed like they came out of a can.
