Super Carniceria Los Alamos

I discover this place a few years ago while driving on Country Club. They were grilling Chicken, it smelled really good so I bought the 2 chickens for $10 or so. Then a few weeks after I bought another 2 chickens and they were not well cooked. They were very pink from the inside and even had some red veins. I was not going to go back all the way there just to return them. So I put them on the oven for a little more time. My last visit was a month ago. I was going to get some chicken again, but they didn't have any ready. They told me I could wait 15-20 mins to the next load was cooked. So while waiting i was texting my friend and she said " hell no that place is very dirty I wouldn't eat from there". I was so hungry that I ignore the comment. To my surprise I saw a cockroach walking on the packs of tortillas. So I told the guy behind the counter and I just left.

I used to work at an office in a plaza across the street and I frequented this carneceria quite often. The reason why? $2.99 STREET TACO PLATE. WITH A SALSA AND GUACAMOLE BAR. 4 delicious street tacos...for $2.99? Getouttahere. Seriously, I really miss having this place as an option. I always get the tripe street tacos, but they also had carne asada and chicken. There are bins of salsa and guacamole in the fridge next to the drinks on the far right of the store. Oh, was I generous with myself everytime I ordered them. I would pile it sky high in my box and hope the cashier wouldn't open it and judge me. hahahah.My tacos would be so full I could scrape off all the toppings and really make 8 tacos (the four tacos had double corn tortillas). Seriously. You could theoretically make 2 meals out of this. They also have a huge variety of very reasonably-priced seasoned meats and entrees. But I only come for one thing. The tacos. Absolutely amazing. Thank you!!Service was always friendly and they had a great variety of household goods, pantry items and a little grocery section. I usually didn't get anything other than the tacos though.Really my biggest issue was having to bring cash to pay, because they require a $5 minimum for credit card and my $2.99 lunch was such a steal!!

Was on the mad-hunt for some Al Pastor meat the other night at the last minute (post work).Once again, my trusty Yelp app came through in a clutch and delivered.I called in advance to ensure they sold this type of meat, first of all, and they did. The shop is smaller but they do offer many products other than meats like detergent, Spanish-only CDs, Maria's Galletas, and pigs' feet.I shimmied back to the meat counter and busted out my rusty Spanish and within seconds, 2lbs of the seasoned Al Pastor were in my grimy Gringa paws.I insisted on using Spanish only when paying w/Cashier too. It felt great.This is the first time buying this type of meat, so I have no baseline of if this was reasonable or not; I believe it was like $3 or $4/lb?? I dunno... But it made some great burritos later.

Fantastic carne & pollo asada!

We ordered carne asada and fajita chicken from this carneceria yesterday and barbequed it up last night. The staff was fast and friendly and the facilities were well kept. The meat was fantastic. We also ordered guacamole and it turned out to be good as well.

A variety of prepared meats as well as one of those "we have a few of everything" (like mom and pop hardware stores). The menu for the prepared food is all Spanish. I got the Pollo Asada (but they charged me for 'Barbacoa' which is $6.99/lb. I'm guessing I got the gringo add-on fee - didn't want to argue). It was SUPER salty.One cashier despite lots of people in line.If I spoke Spanish I may have been treated better. Oh well.

I come to this place for their food, at least twice a week I have lunch here and everything the make is amazing!! Also come see us at T- mobile across the street for any mobile needs!!

The best pan dolce so soft and fresh ..tacos are amazing and salsa I would recommend this place to everyone. Authentic for sure .
