Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge

I can't say enough Sunny Sunnyside Café has an awesome breakfast served daily. I normally get either the Chimi supreme or the cinnamon roll pancakes eggs, and bacon. Service is always awesome. The place is kind of the old café vibe. Try it out you'll love it.

Ashley was so amazing! Has been taking care of the family for a couple years now!! Food is on point as always my burger was delicious and the fruit bowl was delicious! Very fun and family friendly!

The food was mediocre. We ordered the Denver Omelette and it was okay, nothing amazing. You have three choices for fries, but two of the three have a seasoning so I ordered the option that was plain, tater tots. The tater tots were cooked nicely. The reason for my 1 rating has to do with customer service. When the bill came, I presented my Dining Advantage coupon that I purchased on the Dining Advantage app. You essentially pay a price ahead for the coupon and then it's suppose to give you BOGO at the establishment. The server said that they would not take the coupon and that there was a sign on the door. I asked the server where this sign was located because it definitely not something most average customers would see. On my way out, I saw the sign to the right of the door on a small little index card. Hence why most customers would not even notice it. The problem I have here is that it's now on the customer instead of the restaurant to get on Dining Advantage to get this coupon removed. Think about it, why would Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge want to be taken off their coupon program when it's clearly bringing in business (like me) and then they don't need to honor it. I think I'm just so annoyed because the coupon brought us to this restaurant and if I had known I would have gone to Red White and Brew down the street that for the same price was better food and larger portions with leftovers!

Went Friday morning before going to spring training (Go Mariners!!), had to wait maybe 10 minutes before once we were sat the waitress was on top of it! Good menu selection for a picky eater and more adventurous eaters. I got the breakfast chimi add mushrooms as well as someone else at our table. I loved it! The salsa had great flavor with almost no spice which my table mate loves because they are a baby (self admittedly) when it comes to spice. Very cute interior and dim lighting for a breakfast joint. If you're close by, you should definitely stop in!

We came for brunch. We only waited 15 minutes for a table. Off to a good start. We ordered and then waited an hour for our food. I ordered oatmeal with banana. 2 minutes before they bring out the food the waiter tells me they are out of bananas. He asked do you want the other fruit instead? I say well is it gonna be free at this point. He says no. Really I waited an hour for my oatmeal that was I am sure precooked and you just realized you didn't have the fruit I ordered? Then you make me pay for the replacement? Not gonna return.No worries Kyle super customer service get a bad review and reply with rudeness. Exactly the kind of service I experienced and would expect from your establishment. I was not asking for my whole meal to be free just the $1.50 fruit add on since I waited an hour for something. I won't be back and I will tell all my friends not to go there either!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Waitress couldn't be bothered to introduce herself let alone a greeting in general. She acted as if us eating there was an inconvenience for her. Within the first 10 minutes we felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I get having a bad day but taking it out on customers? Seriously? We felt so uncomfortable that we had to cancel our food order and pay for our drinks and leave. Nobody especially our waitress asked if there was an issue while we payed. Would never recommend this place.

It's been a few years since I've been here, because I had moved but recently came back to the area. Sunnyside was one of my favourite places for breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, when I cam back to this location, the service we received was quite awful. There may have only been on server on a weekday morning, but initially there were only three tables occupied at the time we were making our order. The server misinterpreted our order and only brought us a single side item instead of the meal with the side we asked for. Without checking on us, the server then just gave us the bill. We noticed the bill only had one item, so we waited for him to come back and pointed out that we actually ordered a meal. The server was not apologetic and instead insinuated it was our fault for misleading him. When the meal finally came up, he did not bring us any extra plates to help us share, which we did specify we were going to do when we ordered both the first and second time we placed the order. Our server also never bothered to come back and offer us an extra plate while we were eating and clearly having trouble over one plate. We were so put off but the poor service that we did not want to trouble our server more by asking for additional plates. It seemed like every request we made was met with a literal sigh. The food and coffee were admittedly very good, so props to kitchen for that, but the service that day was appalling. We still tried to be friendly, but our server still could not give us the time of day.

The food was absolutely delicious and a bigger portion than expected , my husband got the breakfast tacos which were chefs kiss yumm; I had the waffle with pecans and cream ...next time I'll get the cream on the side because it over powered the waffle and I felt like I wasted half of my meal / service was friendly and a good chat but a little slow , the male server I saw assisting the couple next to us was amazing though so maybe our server was having some outside of work issues as she stayed on her phone. Ambiance was chill, good vibes I love the art on the wall.

Usually the food is ok Today not so much I ordered Eggs Benedict Which tasted and looked like something you would get at a fast food the potatoes they serve are over seasoned so I chose Tater Tots awful they need to cutdown on their seasoning

Doors were locked, nothing on door saying why they were closed Website said they were open. Hope all is ok.
