Sonoran University Medicinary

I have enjoyed my experience at SCNM tremendously, and I am thankful that they have a Medicinary on campus for easy access to supplements and recommended tinctures and treatments! They are helpful and quick to serve. My only concern is that as an active patient of SCNM attending appointments sometimes bi-weekly, and sometimes monthly, I can sometimes run out of supplements and tinctures prior to my next scheduled appointment. This happened today (2 days shy of my appointment on Monday), and unfortunately, when I called to purchase a tincture and a few supplements needed for the weekend, I was not given the chance to use the 15% discount normally allotted to SCNM patients. I understand the normal process is for patients to come after their appointments to use the discount, but as someone who is faithful to purchase all supplements at the Medicinary ($100's of dollars so far), it seems silly an active patient with an appointment scheduled in the system would not be provided this opportunity. I understand it is a courtesy to be allowed the 15% discount, but supplements and good health are incredibly expensive and sometimes hard to keep up with. If the employees at the Medicinary can see I am an active patient, purchasing exactly what was recommend by my Dr. (not abusing the % off for others, etc.) it seems silly to withhold a discount. I have not run out before, but some of the supplements make a HUGE difference for the quality of daily life and are needed to function. So, I am paying for a tincture today with no discount, going without the needed supplements for the weekend, and will have to go back to the Medicinary on Monday after my TELEMED appointment (I will have to make a special trip just to come back to the Medicinary since SCNM is currently observing COVID-19 protocols) so I can use the 15% discount for the remaining supplements left to be purchased. Again, I am thankful that patients are given the opportunity to use a 15% discount, but there should be a better system in place to verify when and how it is used for patients paying a significant amount of money on a very regular basis.

Do not buy anything here you have not already tried. I purchased a few things here yesterday at the advice of a ND and it was expensive and awful! My sons and I both tried what was suggested and it was awful! All three of us got upset stomachs from one product in particular. Now we are out the money! Go to Sprouts where you can return expensive products if they are not good!!!' The staff was nice, but no one told us we couldn't return our purchases. Realized it later when I read the receipt and called to confirm.

Largest medicinary in Arizona. It's a non profit so the prices are great. They are also the largest herbal tincture carrier in the state. You want a tincture or something mixed up, the workers can make it for you on the spot. The products they carry are top quality. Plus you get a 15% off if you go right after your doctors appointment next door.

I had the best experience stocking up on flu & cold supplies as well as probiotics and vitamins! I love knowing that all the products are of the highest quality and vetted through a board of doctors. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff!!

The SCNM medicinary is great! I refer many of my patients here to get their supplements and herbal tinctures. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The school also donates a portion of their medicinary proceeds to serving their community clinics.

I love SCNM. The school is very friendly. The students are smart. The teachers and staffs are very nice. You can find great knowledge and great care here. And yeah I highly recommend their medicinary. One of the best.
