We met up with some friends here after the guys enjoyed a day of golf at Las Colinas in November. I'd been looking forward to trying Social Birdie since I'd heard good things. The ambiance could definitely be improved. Other than the wide open doors on a November evening that left me freezing, the space is sparsley decorated and doesn't match the sophistication of the menu. The service was good - the server was attentive and kept on top of our drinks. The food took quite a while to come out, considering we opted to go right for the entrees and skip the appetizers. My husband decided on the burger, since he'd had it for lunch there a few month's back and liked it. The burger was cooked medium like he requested and there were a good amount of fries for the side. My friend and I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. While the dish was beautiful, my fish portion was significantly smaller than the one my friend received (same thickness) which I though was very odd. The rice was delicious, but the broccolini was lacking in seasoning. The portion itself was quite small for the $36 price tag - my opionion. I might go back for a burger and fries, but I'd pick a warm afternoon to do so!

You'll WANT to read this. 100% TRUTH. And I wish it wasn't true..... $108 for four double PATRON on ice ( which we had to ask the waiter every time to please bring lime and salt and remind him again 2x when he didn't bring it). $400 for dinner for two? Was the food good? Absolutely .. was it better than the macaroni grill or bacci? Not at all. It's an outdated restaurant that is hidden and never busy.. that's why we liked it.. well? It's never busy because it's so insanely over priced we should have went to one of our favorite Scottsdale 5 star restaurants instead but we wanted to be close to home for once ...We just got gRAPED by this place.. one 12 oz ribeye ( half fat ) one SMALL bowl of lobster ( two small pieces of claw meat ) macaroni & cheese. Four small glasses of sangria ( tasted no different than box cheap ) and four doubles of patron silver blanco on ice ( which costs $59 a BOTTLE- full retail ) .. a waiter that asked us if we wanted expensive bottled water or TAP faucet water, a different waiter that brought out our food.. a different one to clean our table and bring drinks .. and $400 later... seriously? Don't waste your MONEY on something so mediocre.. if I'm paying that ? At least update your out of style restaurant guys... and keep your over paid 10 people on staff doing nothing from hanging out like it's happy hour gossiping about bull around the bar ..we desperately need something good in queen creek..a higher end quality relaxing place to feel good about when spending good money on food.. and we were so happy to find something like this.. had high hopes... and we will spend money for a night out when it's worth it.. but they are 10x more expensive than the restaurant inside of Encanterra... you know, the neighborhood with million dollar houses ? And it looks like a family start up. We don't like to ruffle feathers usually but.. guys? This place is not worth it. .Also- to edit.. with two other tables besides ours.. it took a long time to get our food, ( steak takes longer we know ) which was not hot when it came out..I've worked in restaurants before.. I understand things happen and no one TRIES to be lazy and slow.. the servers know it's THEIR paycheck and are usually the back bone to making sure things happen in GOOD time .. we are truly understanding people and that $400 included the tip.. but that was a $180 dinner all the way around from the food to the service to the way we were treated.. dang it queen creek.. we need something good here :(

I'll start out with the service... which was great! Our server (Logan) was friendly and attentive. Food - I had the Lobster Benedict, the poached egg was over done. the spinach I believe was from a can. The hollandaise sauce had very little flavor. The Lobster was cooked with some spices that did not compliment it and it was rubbery (overdone) The side of potatoes were dry and probably cooked that morning. For a $24 plate of food it should have been fresh and hot. I will give the food a 1 Ambiance was ok, it really needs some acoustics. It is very loud. I will give Ambiance part a 2Overall it was an ok experience, I'm not sure I will ever try it again though.

Came here for lunch on Sunday and it's a cute little spot! My family enjoys golf so the fact that the golf course is next door is a big plus! We sat outside and enjoyed the golf course scenery. There is a nice lounge area with a fit it and my kids saw some Jenga blocks so they were playing with those while we were waiting for our food. My kids ordered the beef tacos off the kids menu. It came with 5 tacos. On the dry side since it's very basic with no sauce. Wish they could have added some guac or salsa with it that was kid friendly. We did ask for salsa on the side but too spicy for the kids. Kids still ate it though. Husband and I shared a turkey sand-which and we enjoyed it. I wouldn't say their food was amazing but we enjoyed the vibe and service overall.

A decent choice. Soft bun, good beef flavor. Sauce was a little bland. Not the best, but still a solid burger.

Hubs and I visited Social Birdie back in March for brunch on a Saturday. Even though the restaurant was not very busy, the parking lot was packed due to peak golf season. Finding a spot was quite a challenge, so we had to create our own.We were greeted warmly by the hostesses upon entering. The dining room is big, open, and bright. It's beautiful, too. Since it was a nice day out, majority of the diners opted to be seated outside and so did we. Their spacious patio has a great view of the 9th hole. Shortly after being seated, our server greeted us and took our drink orders. We both ordered oat milk lattes, which took about 20 minutes or so to arrive. My husband had to check on them inside, assuming they might have been forgotten. For our meals, my husband chose the avocado toast, while I went for the breakfast burrito without bacon. Fortunately, the food didn't take as long as our drinks. The avocado toast featured an over-medium egg, everything seasoning, and queso fresco on sourdough toast, which was pretty tasty. My burrito consisted of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cheddar cheese (without bacon as requested). It was a decently sized burrito but didn't stand out as exceptional.Besides the delay in serving our drinks, the overall service was great. The prices were reasonable. I hope they're able to expand their parking lot in the future.

Stopped by here after a hike with a friend, and it was exactly what we needed. I started with my favorite cocktail, an espresso martini, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the turkey club, which was delicious, and the fries were incredible (I'm usually not a big fan of fries, but these were exceptional). We sat outside, soaking up the beautiful weather, and both of us agreed we'd definitely come back here after our next hike.
