Ship-Rite

I had a large item I needed to send out to a friend. It was kind of a weird shaped larger item that I also needed a box for. Alex, the cashier, assisted me in identifying the most appropriate sized box available and cutting it down to the size of the item so that I didn't need to fill it with more packing material than necessary. He was quick about everything. The facility was clean (though he was not wearing a mask FYI) and well organized. Will consider Ship-Rite as a shipping method from now on!

Have had this mailbox going on 3 years, figured I'd write a review as it's a very convenient place to have a mailbox, when you live in an apartment or have to worry about porch pirates stealing your package. The guy who is behind the counter takes a picture of your package and texts each mailbox user individually which is very very helpful. Also their prices on odds and ends are very reasonable. I won't be leaving anytime soon and will stay with them for ye to come .

I used to live in the Shea Blvd/ Tatum area since 2001 and you name it - I tried it all! Couple USPSs, couple UPSs... but nothing is even close to the great service you can get at Ship-Rite! You check it for yourself when next time you will need to ship something! Ask for Alex - he will take care of all your shipping needs!

I live in Los Angeles but use Ship Rite to manage my Digital Mailbox. I love the app they use to show me what mail was received! Free scans of my mail! I can travel anywhere in the world and not miss a single letter for my business. Incredible service!Thanks Catherine!

Waste of time on the phone. I inquired to get some basic information. Got none. Just a snarky woman pitching FedEx. I was looking for the most economical way to ship a 6 pound item and she was of no help. Said the Post Office has a 50% failure rate. Of course that's absurd. Not that I have had 100% success with the USPS, but it has been nothing remotely like 50%. Not even 1%. ShipRite is not interested in helping you. They're interested in pitching what they want to pitch. Save your time.

out of the blue I received a used dvd from this place. I did not order. I traced it back to it and called them. A woman answered, i told her what happened, she curtly said "it was an error just throw it out." No research, no accountability. When I pressed for more info, she said "we are a shipping company. errors happen." Hmmm. i get that. But what about the right person who ordered this, and the other person who shipped this... don't they appreciate this error corrected? did i get charged for it? are there any tracking?... does anybody care?

Overall this place deserves a five-star review but with one negative note. First, the positives. The price is right ($15 a month), the owner is friendly (she's awesome), the service and software to view your mail are good. Requests are handled promptly and everyone is always friendly.Now, the one negative note -- and one wish I have.There's a gentleman in there sometimes. He's nice. But at least on two occasions he's given me someone else's mail when I slowly and clearly stated my box number. I made a point of this because I can mumble, and I can pronounce poorly. So I make sure I make the effort and he still seems to get confused. His attitude and everything are fine; he just seems to me mistakes often. Other than that, no issues.I would like to see longer hours on Saturday (4 pm, maybe?) and/or Sunday, but otherwise, really pleased. This is virtual mail done right.

The price is right and the owner goes the extra mile. Added bonus: They'll take packages no matter how big your mailbox is. Much better than the UPS store I used before. Highly recommend!

I've only just transferred my P.O Box to this location in the last month and I immediately felt regret for not transferring sooner!!! I have to say-- the difference in service, specifically as it relates to the ease and accommodations for PO Box holders, is far superior than my previous PO box I used here in the valley. I was immediately impressed with ShipRite's standard of communication -- everything is convenient and easy! I receive my first package to my PO box at ShipRite this week. A text notification with a photo of the shipping label notifying me the package was received and who it was from. Gone are the days I have to call the location to figure out if a package I am awaiting has been delivered!!! I'm so excited about this service! Though I print my own business related shipping labels at home before dropping them off here, I love that they offer the convenience of creating and printing a label in store for you. They even email you the tracking number (because, who can keep track of those pesty receipts the post office gives you?). I can go on and on ( including the digital fax service and excellent customer service) but this review is long enough. I highly recommend ShipRite for shipping and PO box services!! I seriously wish I made the switch earlier!

I have been using Shiprite on Tatum for about one and half year. Alex is wonderful. Very accommodating and very efficient. Always helpful when I go in and need something special. I would highly recommend. Never had an issue with anything.
