Shaghf Cafe

What a great addition to Tempe's coffee scene! I've had the chance to visit Shaghf Cafe a few times now and it's such a unique coffee meet up.A little ducked off of the Main Street of Apache in a strip mall, this cozy spot has the sweetest baristas. The service is always great and they have so many selections I can't wait to try more. I've still yet to try any of their food items but they look so delish! It's aesthetic, it's cute, it's delicious, and it's got culture. What more could you ask for in a coffee shop!

I must say, it was a great experience! This place is a popular Arabic-style coffee shop offering a variety of desserts, hot and cold drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for studying, working, or just spending time with friends.One of the highlights of their menu is the Dubai chocolate, which they prepare beautifully. I ordered an iced latte and a glass of Dubai chocolate with strawberries and Nutella , which cost me around $25--a bit more than I expected, but after tasting it, I realized it was worth it, because service is fast .I didn't like the consistency of the pistachio Creme, it was too liquid and too much bug crumbles, so not sure if will go back again and try this desert, for 1 time it is enough. The café has a restroom, and the seating area is comfortable. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the drinks and desserts makes up for it. If you're looking for a nice spot to relax and enjoy premium drinks, this café is definitely worth a visit!

This is a coffee shop established in the UAE since 2018, and cool to have this here in Phoenix! Tonight, after yoga class, I needed to catch up on some work and I was in Tempe. This coffee shop came up in my searches as closing late and this has been a place on my list to visit, so I popped in around 7pm.The place is very close to ASU and in a shopping plaza with lots of other stores. Ample parking available in shared lot. The place is very inviting and spacious. It's probably one of the most diverse places I have been here in Phoenix. Lots of students too and many studying. I love the ambiance here, lots of cool lights and decorations (including sculpture monkeys hanging off ropes with lights). And the music they played was poppy, happy music, almost identical to my own play list.The workers here are very friendly and helpful. The woman that took my order was very sweet. I wanted to try the karak chai and she gave me a sample of it. It's a bit like Indian chai with lots of spices and not sweet at all. I loved it!I also tried the Dubai chocolate as I saw lots on social media about it. For close to $9, I think next time I'll pass. It's kind of a novelty and curiosity got to me haha. It's pistachio flavored and it's really good, but you have to consume it immediately as it will melt. I didnt know that, so by time I wanted to eat more of it, it had mostly melted on my plate! When it's melted, it tastes a bit like a pistachio flavored Nutella.I enjoyed getting work done here and I sat at a high top seat facing the parking lot as there were outlets available there.The coffee shop has good traffic in and out, was clean and just a great atmosphere to work. And it's open until midnight on weeknights and 1am on weekends! I'll definitely be back again! Great addition near ASU campus!

We stopped in on Christmas Day since most coffee shops are closed, we had never heard of this cafe but very glad it was open. Very friendly and helpful staff in explaining the expansive menu, and huge dining area inside and out for hanging around or working. Great decor inside and very clean. Not to mention easy parking

I visited Shaghf while touristing in Tempe area! We ordered the large pistachio frappe and it was just phenomenal. It even had fresh pistachios in the drink. Can't get this good of a frappe at any other Yemeni cafe. It's worth the price!Additionally they had wonderful outdoor and indoor seating that was aesthetic and so relaxing.

I only had the Dubai Chocolate but I would definitely come back again for the coffee. Big space for studying. The chocolate was $9 and is taken out of the fridge. I let it sit for couple of minutes and the chocolate completely melted at room temperature. It is very tasty I must say. I'm glad I tried it but definitely a lot for $9

We stopped by Shaghf Cafe after eating at the nearby Kung Fu Kitchen and I'm glad I did! Did some research on their beautiful logo (photo below of it on a flowerpot) and it means passion or intense love. Pretty cool they brought this UAE based chain to Tempe bringing arabica coffee and Dubai culture!The service was friendly, ambiance was modern and excellent and they had live music to boot! The violinist really added to the Friday night vibes and we spent a nice evening talking and trying their Dubai chocolate which friends enjoyed and the baklava.Definitely want to come back to try their coffees. This is a great place to get some work done or chat with your friends!

Like most places these days, the social media hype of this place reeled me in. I tried to visit one time before and there was a long line out of the door so I moved in. Well, I finally got to try it. The inside is spacious and beautiful. The decor and colors really pop. The staff is polite. The dessert/food in the display case did not look appealing so I passed on it. I ordered a red velvet latte and a strawberry matcha latte. The red velvet latte was good for what it was. It was a little difficult to mix the drink up to create the balance needed so I really just tasted the chocolate flavor, then the milk, then the coffee, not like a good mix or balance of the flavors but it wasn't nasty. The matcha latte was not good in my opinion. The quality of the matcha just didn't seem good and the strawberry flavor did not mix well into the drink. It mostly tasted like milk. The bathroom was nice and clean.

Loved it. Great place to relax and enjoy the sleek decor and the coffee was killer. I had a pistachio latte and it was really yummy!

The service was excellent. I bought the Dubai chocolate bar. I've also purchased one from tik Tok and this one from Shagf surpassed it by far. It was very clean and very friendly staff!
