I took my parents to visit Schnepf Farms back in November. It was our first time visiting so we didn't really know what to expect. I was looking for things to do in the area and Schnepf Farms came up.We arrived a little past noon and went to the cafe first to grab a bite. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch. The menu is pretty simple; they offer omelettes, pancakes, biscuits, and more for breakfast and burgers, sandwiches, etc for lunch. They do not have many vegetarian options. The ladies at the cafe were friendly and helpful. I opted for the farm fresh omelette ($13) while my parents opted for the biscuits & gravy ($10) and farm burger ($13). The prices were very reasonable especially for the generous portions. The food was tasty for the most part. I really enjoyed my mom's fries. We walked around for bit and saw farm animals such as chickens, pigs, and goats. There were a few playgrounds, but really not much to see at that time. The farm is huge and we probably only saw a fraction of it. I know they host events throughout the year. They had already started setting up for "Christmas at Schnepf Farms," which I hear is a sight to see. I will have to come back for it this year if not sooner!

We had our office Christmas party here (around 50 people) and it was such a different experience than a usual holiday party. The grounds are very large and can accommodate many people. We had a theme of movie night. We also had a live band play.We went on the hay ride which was fun and played with some live animals which was a petting zoo- I did not take pictures of it. Lighted decorations were fun. It was a bit cold on a December night but I wore my fur coat so I was fine.Only thing I didn't like it was VERY hard to find. A number of people in our group had a hard time finding it.The experience at Christmas at Schnepf Farms will leave lasting memories and feeding Santa's Deer was unique. There were giant Christmas trees and ornaments line the promenade but I couldn't take it with my cell phone. There is a candy in the Sweet Shop, but I didn't get there. Food was average but one goes for the experience. Only other negative thing was the drink selection. We got the wine, beer and margarita package and the margarita wasn't great.Overall a wonderful time and unforgettable. I would highly recommend it.

I live in the area. We always hear good things about all the events that they have here and I've really been wanting to try it out. I am a city guy, so the atmosphere was much different than I was used to, but it was very welcoming, and it was very festive And everybody was friendly. I appreciated the quiet of the area. Our server was very friendly. The menu is very limited for breakfast and lunch items so don't go there looking for a lot of variety. What we did have was very fresh and well cooked and well seasoned. I think now that I've experienced it. It's not something I would necessarily frequent often but I would recommend for a nice authentic western farm feel. This is the place to be with great staff and experience. Food 5/5Location 4/5Atmosphere 5/5 Parking 4/5Staff 5/5 Return Factor 2/5

We LOVE schnepf!! We come here often but we attend the Christmas light festivities every year! Brilliant to come on a Sunday night. Way less crowds which was a great, the weather played a nice role. Wish it was a touch chiller but was still great! So many fun shops, carmelized almonds and nuts was delicious. The lights were beautiful Long lines to see Santa. And the train ride is worth the extra and the wait. Moves quickly, my daughters loved it, great for all ages. Plenty of activities & rides included in your ticket purchase.

For family fun this place has a lot to offer We started off by attending a large farmers market on one of their parking lots. But them as we walked along took a look at the country store filled with scrupulous cookies, pies, fudge and much more. What impressed me the most was the simple country (outdoor) restaurant. Yes it is outside but remember it is Arizona. The breakfast choices were made with farm fresh ingredients and at a very affordable price I had the country breakfast which came with two eggs four slices of bacon two slices of thick cut toast and potatoes for only $10. My wife had a three egg omelette with all the sides for $13. We also split a house specialty that was a Blueberry crunch pancakes, it was more like a dessert and very good.

This review is mainly for the bakery and store. Just stopped in to check it out. Cute store with a lot of fun items. Would probably have stocked up, but was just visiting AZ. It was also too hot to really explore all of the farm, but I guess locals are used to 100 degree activities. What you need to try is the bakery items. They all looked good, but we went with one of the stars of the show - Peach Cinnamon Roll. I mean just look at the picture of this thing. Definitely get this to share. We did, but I think this thing was made for 4+ people. Get one of these and then sit on their cute patio. One recommendation, I was hoping to get some peaches, but they only had two options: pick your own and a pallet. I guess AZ farm stands are go big or go home. Wish you had peaches by the pound or a small quantity option.

Absolutely loved this place! It's worth the drive and the price. The food is amazing, the staff members are great. They have a petting zoo as well, and the animals are friendly. They have a lot of activities to keep the kids entertained. I'll say the adults will have a lot of fun too. It's a great place to get away from the city!

We went to the pumpkin and chili fest last night with our nearly two year old and we had a nice time! We had purchased tickets online got there around 4:30, the event was sold out and the parking lots were pretty full. We ended up in a back lot but did see a bunch of empty spots in the closer lots as we walked through. We were very happy to see that even though the event was sold out, we didn't have to wait in long lines to get snacks or use the restroom. The property is so large and people were widely dispersed which was perfect! Our toddler enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins, the petting zoo and cruising around in her red wagon. We'll be back next year!

This was our first visit. We went in June, so there was not much going on. But, it was a nice place to have breakfast. Had the biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs and hash browns. It was all good. The store is small with not much in the way of produce. Again, it was June and we were told it is too hot to grow much.I am sure in the fall there will be more to do and certainly good produce to choose from. They do have a train with tracks that are said to be a mile long and petting zoo, but we did not partake in them as we did not have any of the kids with us. Employees were friendly and it is a welcoming atmosphere.
