It has been years since I last visited this place. My niece suggested we stop by on Saturday night for a drink and so we did. There were two workers and one of them quickly greeted us. We looked over the menu on the one working TV screen as the other two were broken. We ordered one thai tea crush and one regular thai tea with boba. The drinks took about 10 minutes or so to be ready. My thai tea was ok and tasted like any other thai tea - nothing special. My niece did not like her blended drink as it had no flavor and tasted very watered down. There was plenty of seating available. The inside had a strong smell of food and spices. We had just eaten so the overwhelming smell of food did not do too well for us. I'm pretty sure new people are in charge as everything felt and looked different.

Such delicious and creamy icecream! We got the cookie crumble special and it craved each sweet craving I had! It was a little pricey for the size and what it was, but it was well crafted. They had a cute decorated wall where you can take nice pictures too and many seats inside. Cute place to catch up with grabs and grab something sweet!

This place must have changed ownership because it's no longer as awesome as it used to be. This cup of ice cream was $10+! Also the place feels cramped with the new food set up. It makes sense why it isn't as busy as it used to be. I really miss the old Rewind.

Do not come here for ice cream, they don't serve you what the menu clearly says will be in it and topped with , everything comes out completely different the lady couldn't even tell us which was which. Paid 30$ for 3 small little cups of something they made up not what the menu says you will get. On your way to DQ now ....

One of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had in my life.Wanted ice cream after a nice dinner and had this place bookmarked for a while. Wondered if this place was one of those "ghost kitchens" given the late hours which seemed strange for an ice cream shop. What we walked into around 6 or 7pm on a weekend night felt like a 1993 episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark.... it was so so strange our group looked at each other questioning if we wanted to make a run for it once we interacted with... The Lady. You park in front of a little strip of stores with a neighborhood grill a few doors down. Low key area, good vibes. Walked into Rewind and we had the place to ourselves. There's no music. No sound from the machines or the AC just thick air and creepy silence. To the left, there's a catering area set up and behind it a huge wall with pictures of healthy-looking food from another country. Next to that is a random small Christmas tree. OK. In walks The Lady from the back other reviewers reference. I'm wondering if she's the owner and only employee? Very nice at first telling us about the menu, but we can't really get a word in for questions. She then, unprovoked, transformed her monologue into a tirade against the food industry and how bad the Democrats are poisoning our food supply. Her ingredients are only natural and it's because of Donald Trump. She only serves the best healthy kind of desserts (are desserts healthy?). We stood in astonishment wondering wtf to do. I finally tried to kindly interrupt her and told her "Ma'am, we just want some ice cream." She apologized and asked if we're voting for Trump. We responded we don't really do politics, we again, just want some ice cream...She apologized if it made us uncomfortable. We just smiled and clarified our order. 1 milkshake and 1 cone. The Lady apologized that she stopped using cones because they are unhealthy (meanwhile, my order has cereal and yummy super unhealthy treats on top). So it's now 1 cup of ice cream and 1 milkshake. No big deal. We were then asked to put our names and phone numbers on a piece of scratch paper to enter into a drawing for free vegan ethnic food when she begins that part of this operation. Umm what? Respectfully, we declined. I legitimately feared our names would end up on a political list or we were being setup or scammed somehow. All this is happening for some ice cream lol. It offended the Lady and she asked if we don't think we'd like her cooking. We said we just ate (we did) and that we would be happy to come back to support, just don't like giving our info out (I could have taken photos of all the names and numbers in the jar. I should have put Dixon Butts in there!). This place has to be a front for something we thought.A grueling, and I mean grueling, 15 minutes goes by while The Lady struggles to make 1 scoop of ice cream in a cup and 1 regular size milkshake. All exactly as they come on the menu. Meanwhile, another foolish couple entered the store. Thank goodness we are no longer alone. This is not a sweet little old Lady, people. More akin to the Witch from the horror movie Drag Me to Hell. I didn't want to offend her or have her curse me. I'm not making this stuff up go visit her for yourself. Very confrontational for absolutely no reason. I'm laughing the entire time plotting my revenge against our group for choosing this place (Culver's nearby is infinitely superior to this twilight zone of an experience). We wondered if she was a new employee but this was definitely not the case. The Lady struggled to make our small order (and had no other orders online or in person as the couple had to wait on our order before placing theirs). Abysmal. We finally got our order. My milkshake was served in the same exact cup as our coneless ice cream order. So my order is wrong. It's not a milkshake at all it's froyo. Friend's "ice cream" scooped was froyo as well. Smile and nod. Just go. We left and ate by the nearby water pond next to the grill patio (tucked away, you're welcome). Decompress time. What just happend?! The froyo itself was fine. Average. Nothing different from your regular yogurt shop, imo.If you want the experience of a lifetime before this place closes I suggest you go say hello to The Lady and just sit back and enjoy the show. Wish it was a sweet little grandma with a cool family backstory. Nope. Not. At. All. Very very strange encounter and $20 for our simple order which essentially once we got it was 2 scoops of soft-froyo. Don't say I didn't warn you!

1 woman running the place. No hat or hairnet and she had long curly hair. No gloves she used hands to put cookie on to the ice cream. Photos show cones, but she says too unhealthy so no cones, but okay to cover ice cream with cereal. Talked on the phone using speaker phone the entire time. Too expensive for what you get. Chocoholic missing marshmallows and the cookie cereal was stale. Food safety nightmare. Had to give a star to post. Negative stars.

No use of gloves. Photos of menu do not match what is served. $8.99 for essentially the equivalent of DQ. Lady who is owner tried to say photo on wall was the same as what she served me.
