I ordered the chilaquiles and really liked the flavor. They came with a small "salad" on the side (lettuce, tomato, avocado) as well as refried beans. The chilaquiles were cooked in a relatively mild tomatillo salsa. You can also choose between a green, red, and habanero salsa on the side if you wish. I really wanted carne asada today, so they allowed me to add it to the top for an extra charge, even though it's not usual. The chips were a little more soggy than I'd expect, but that's what happens when you order chilaquiles to go. Better to eat in!I think they'll probably add the "meat" options to the menu soon, but today they told me they had beef (assuming shredded?), chicken, and carne asada. This restaurant just opened up inside of the building (Tempe Farmers Market?) on the SE corner of University and Farmer. It shares the space with a coffee shop during the day. There are a few booths for seating as well as tables. There's plenty of parking in front of the business, but you could easily park along Farmer Ave if needed. The owners are very kind and helpful! I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Amazing food! Shared a bean and cheese burrito, chicken tamale, carne asada street tacos with beans and rice. Definitely coming back to try more! Even better, there's live music and a bar to grab drinks!

Don't miss out on this great Mexican restaurant! We shared the tostadas and the carne asada platter. Both excellent. And ask for some of this verde sauce- best I've had!

I was in the area on business and stumbled upon this place. I get the impression it's a new restaurant with little following, but that's not going to last. I and two of the guys with me had the tamale of the day (chicken & green chili), and the chilaquiles. The fourth guy got the 3 carne asada tacos, rice & beans. The tamale was outstanding full of chicken and flavor - highly recommend. The chilaquiles with carne asada was freaking fantastic! The guy who got the tacos said they were 'really good'. The three salsa choices of green, red, and hot (siracha?) were delicious as well. Everything is fresh made with quality ingredients. I recommend going asap. Word's going to get out about the great food and they're going to get busy soon.

This is the same restaurant as the location in Mesa that was damaged by the fire in the smoke shop. They relocated here until the original site is restored. Absolutely fantastic, delicious food from Puebla, Mexico--but they will feed you a burrito, too (if you really want one). The mole poblano is both delicious and made from scratch. This is also one of the few places in the US where we have found tlacoyos--and they are on-par with what we seek out to devour in Mexico. Please give them your business! Parking is a little tight during peak hours, but there are usually spots available on a side street. So glad we "found" them again!

All food is extremely fresh and quality. I literally can't say enough good things about this place. I grew up in Phoenix and have always loved quality authentic Mexican food. I am constantly trying to find good hole in the wall places to get lunch and I found a great one. This place is family owned and the owners are very kind people.

Small family run home cooked based on family recipes from Mexico City. Eclectic atmosphere near Mill Ave but a better atmosphere next to historic district. Delicious food at a budget. Family of 3 were there and they are very nice and genuine. I believe you can get takeout as well. Loved it.
