Pyro has become one of our favorite places to go! From tasty cocktails, apps and entrees and a vibe that's relaxing and chill. We made reservations for a early dinner on a Friday and our waitress was amazing..She explained the menu well and made some great recommendations. The salmon and the shaved greens salad were our favorites.Definitely add to your list of places to visit!

Happy hour here is underrated, they'll sell you on the cheeses burger but I could take it or leave it for the less picky eaters Can't miss the beet salad well complemented salad and interestingly done with tofu as well. Meatballs are juicy and flavor full to start the days Cocktails were all $12 and had unique touches to them that added further character - such as the bit of matcha or a few aesthetic touches with coffee beans or flowersOdd moment was where everyone left us to fend for ourselves and track down our last two salmon hand rolls. Asked 2 staff that we could even find, 30 minutes later handrolls were secured and then inspected - my seaweed was droopy beyond saving. It was a lost cause so I ate only the fresh seafood and left the droopy sticky sea weed behind. Would potentially come back here again if the service improved

Came to pyro for an early happy hour today and so glad I did. The food here is unreal. I had the salmon handroll, chicken thigh skewers and the yellow tail handroll... omg all three are so freaking good. Upscale ambience, very friendly bar staff. I had the yuzu highball drink which was alright but then I had their version of an espresso martini and is was sooooooooooo good. Best espresso martini in the valley. Highly recommend will be back soon.

I'm a big fan! From service to ambiance to flavor - straight A's across the board, in my book. Starting with the vibe, it's low lit and super sexy.I have been wanting to try this place, so I brought my boyfriend here while he was visiting from out of town. We ordered the calamansi margaritas and they were delicious. A perfect refreshing Summery drink. My boyfriend ordered the spocy salmon hand roll as an appetizer, which was also delicious. It tasted fresh and flavorful. Soy sauce served in an eye dropper was a nice touch and also not messy. For our entree we shared the NY strip steak and a side of fried rice. My boyfriend says this place has the best fried rice in all of AZ. I personally love the kick from kimchi in there. Our steak was cooked medium rare, to order, seasoned well and whatever that crema sauce that comes with it practically made my bf lick the bowl, lol. Will definitely add this to my return list so I can try pther yummy options!

I've been wanting to try Pyro for awhile. From the photos and Reels, I've seen it looked beautiful inside and outside on the patio, and seeing it in person, it did not disappoint. I was worried about parking since they said street parking available, and usually that's limited but there's a parking garage diagonal from it which made it really easy. The service is on point. Never rushed. Always courteous. My friend called the restaurant beforehand to tell them it was my birthday two weeks ago and they still honored and celebrated it by offering a complimentary dessert, the Ube panna cotta. I recently developed an allergy to mango so instead of the mango lassi, they substituted one of their homemade ice creams that still complemented the dessert well!We sampled and shared several menu items. We started with the steak tartare served with little cuts of bread and the Hearth beets. One was a hearty appetizer while the other a light airy treat. Both were delicious! At the very beginning of the meal, the staff told us that anything off of the Hearth menu would take awhile so they wanted to put that order in from the start. From reading other reviews, people had complained of food taking too long, but if they tell you beforehand like they told us, I don't see the problem. It gave us more time to enjoy each other's company and drinks, hehe. The wait was worthwhile! The New York bone in strip was cooked to perfection. Loved the salty chunks and seasoning on top and the unique Asian twist of Bernaise sauce along with the "meat juices" served with the steak married a bunch of complimenting flavors. The whole Branzino wasn't as big as we expected, but it packed a lot of flavor in its white tender meat. We really enjoyed that but glad we ordered other food to add to the balance. The crab noodles surprisingly was one of my favorite dishes. I do love crab so much, but it was just the right amount of pasta mixed in, buttery, rich and tasty! We also ordered the short rib fried rice because we wanted to try it too and glad that we did!The bathroom was interesting. My husband could have sworn that the audiobook of the "Art of War" by Sun Tzu was playing in the background as you "took care of business." On the way there, if you looked at the wall, there were set in small vintage pin ball looking machines. There was a lot of detail every where if you took a moment to look around. Pyro is worth visiting. It's definitely an experience and lovely environment for celebrating a special occasion and I can see also a fun place to enjoy happy "Social Hour."

Had a spectacular time for my girlfriend's birthday at Pyro. We were seated after the majority of our party arrived and went closer to the back and where one can see the chefs preparing the meals. It's a dark ambiance, sexy, and upscale. Folks are dressed nice and having special occasions left and right. Not a ton of space for large parties but they made it work for us by putting two tables together in the back. It took a bit of Tetris though. Our server was great. He was attentive and suggestive of popular items on the menu although he mentioned most all items on the menu were delicious and they truly were. I wasn't able to eat a good portion of them at the time as I was diet restricted but everyone raved about the burst of flavors and the attention to detail of the ingredients. Our server let us know a brief history of the restaurant and the intent of it to be family style, which we mostly tried. The drinks (alcoholic) are also posh and luxurious and boy are they also tasty in addition to quite aesthetically pleasing. It has a few rooms and seems the ambiance changes a bit too with where you sit. I saw a bachelorette party happening on the right outside patio and it was a nice space for that. The bar area was full and it's so aesthetic with the glasses and lights. The kitchen is open so you can see chefs back there cooking which I love. I was particularly tickled to see a man with makeup on because yes king/queen! I liked the hats they were wearing and asked if I could purchase one but they were only for staff. Overall the food, the experience , and the service were great. I'd recommend for a nice dinner out, date night, or catchup dress up date with girlfriends.

Let me start off by saying this is a really cool restaurant. Loved all the decorations and tables and floor and ceilings and lights lol. The waiter was so good, and had great suggestions and was very patient with us. The food was outstanding there wasn't one thing I didn't love. The pork belly skewers were cooked perfect. The salmon hand roll had great flavor and was perfect. The fried rice with short rib and egg was so good. The tuna with orange on top was so amazing, such a great flavor and I really enjoyed the gyoza. Overall I can't wait to go back again. Also the happy hour is really great.

4.5/5!I had a nice experience at PYRO and would go again! Ambiance and service were a 5/5 but I give a 4 overall since I didn't love the cocktails nor all of our food options (but the menu is very big so I'm sure there are many other things that are delicious). The service was excellent. I feel like our waiter came enough times to promptly capture what we needed but it wasn't bothersome. It was nice to have our dirty dishes cleared and refreshed a couple times, and they quickly replaced my drink when I didn't like the first one. All our dishes were paced out with good timing, where we weren't jammed up but weren't waiting too long either. I'd say this was our ideal service scenario! I liked the ambiance. It was dimly lit but not too dark, and the restaurant was busy but not too loud; it helped that the restaurant is pretty segregated so we were only in a section with about 5 or 6 other tables. We also enjoyed sitting next to each other in a corner booth! Overall, the food / drink was very good but not to die for, especially for the price point. For drinks, I felt their cocktail menu was pretty limited and I didn't end up finding anything I really liked. I enjoy tart, fruity drinks, but the two closest options were both too sweet. After trying the second drink, I switched to wine and enjoyed the Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, which had a bit of a peppery kick to it! For small plates, I really liked the beef flavor in the steak gyoza instead of traditional pork. The short rib skewers were so tender and well complemented by the light wasabi / lime sauce! The tuna meat in the tuna tataki was very tender but I probably could've used a little more flavor, either a little more wasabi or a stronger sauce. The spicy salmon hand roll was loaded(!), but lacked in any sort of spice or sauce... I'd be careful about ordering too many of these since they are pretty filling! We also ordered the crab pasta, per our waiter's recommendation, and the scallops for our shared entrees. The crab pasta was good (however, both my boyfriend and I got crab shell in a couple bites), and the scallops were cooked perfectly. However, both dishes didn't seem to fit the Asian fusion palette; they tasted like something you'd get at an Italian or New American restaurant. It might've been on us for misunderstanding / for wrong expectations. If I were to go back, I would try the ribeye, garlic spicy noodles and the potato side dish! Lastly, we enjoyed two desserts - the stone fruit tart and the sticky toffee cake. Both were delicious, but the sticky toffee cake was the best! It was probably one of my favorite desserts in the last year across many restaurants. It was rich, gooey and crunchy!

Love this spot! They have an amazing happy hour until 630 and everything is spot on! The short rib skewers while not on happy hour are amazing. All of the seafood is so fresh and delicious! Service at the bar is very prompt and friendly. The vibe of the restaurant is very cool and good for photos. The only vibe I don't like is whatever they play on the speakers in the bathrooms weirds me out
