Poor Sam's Italian Beef

Went and tried this place this afternoon. Very pleased. Had the Italian beef sandwich and Italian beef bowl. Great food. Great portions . You can select your toppings. Super friendly. Would come back again.

Poor Sam's Italian Beef~ Food Truck in Maricopa AZ~December 3, 2021 Friday - 6:20 PM for dinner2 AdultsAtmosphere - 4 starsFood - 4 starsService - 4 starsBackground - Tonight we went to Merry Copa for the Christmas tree lighting and fireworks.  There was about 10 food trucks at this event.  Second time seeing these guys in as many weeks, first time ordering food.Atmosphere - Really not a food truck but a unique trailer.  Almost something you would see on downtown Chicago street corner.Food - Italian Beef a Chicago traditional staple in the city.  It was great having one again.  The beef was great, I just wish there was more in the sandwich.  This could fall under service as well.  I think they kept their prices at their normal.  $8.50 was solid price for this sandwich.  I think they could have charged at least $10.50 or more for the event.Service - You could tell they had extra help for this event.  The cashiers were friendly.  The food came out quickly.  Lucky we got there early before the lines became insanely long, not just their "truck" but all trucks.Future - I had a bit of my wife's Polish sausage and it was tasty.  I would come back for just that.

The best of Chicago in Maricopa it's all great .I feel I'm back in shaky town. Makes me want to go to Hawthorne Park and watch the ponies lay down a few bucks. Chicago dogs love them, Beef sandwiches wow, And love the new truck. The best food in this fast food nightmare we have in Maricopa.

Just stopped by this place yesterday, for the first time. Awesome food and staff was very nice.

I was really excited to try this food cart for the Chicago dogs but I was really disappointed. To me the taste just wasn't there, can't put my finger on it but just didn't like it. My husband on the other hand liked the Italian beef so 2 stars for that. I'll go elsewhere for my Chicago dog or just make them myself.

This place is AWESOME!! They make the best Cannoli I've had!

My future daughter in law Maura brought the cannollis over today they were so delicious We moved here from NY & have been dying for italian pastries there is not any italian bakeries here in casa grande Poor Sams will be seeing us a lot. This bakery gets a 10 . Thanks for giving Maura these pastries They are the best My rating is a 10**********

Had the Italian Beef with Italian sausage and hot peppers bowl. Absolutely delicious, and the hot peppers were no joke! Would definitely get again!
