Always enjoy this place. Nice beer selection and the food is good. All the birds make it s nice place to take people from outside the area.

I like the atmosphere here.. with the outside seating and the parrots... the only thing I had to take couple of stars aways was even though my waiter was nice.. it took him forever to bring me a box back.. and it wasn't even busy yet.. I think I waited like 15 mins and he kept saying "I'm bringing it I'm bringing it.." ..

This was one of the most weirdest dining experience. I got there at 6:30ish for dinner and Jack Trivia that started at 7. This was my first time at this restaurant and was meeting some friends here. When I arrived, I was the first one from my group and there were no tables available. The place is tiny and had maybe 10 or so high top tables and then the bar top area around the bar. When I arrived there was nobody to greet and a sign that said to seat yourself. I couldn't even figure out who the waitstaff was for several minutes and then had to walk around to find someone and ask them about a table. They told me we could sit outside and that there were tvs out there and then later we were told tvs couldn't get the trivia but that we could move the tables as we saw fit. Let's just say, we moved them and I am very confident it was a fire or safety hazard where we moved them so we could be seen by waitstaff and see the tvs inside. Then when we ordered, the waitress seemed not the nicest and I asked her what she recommended for food and she had this attitude and looked at me weird for asking and told me this was not fine dining and it was just typical bar food. I find this odd to talk to a customer like this, but at least she was honest, right? I will not be dining here again due to the lack of space. The trivia was a blast and I'll try that at another location.

Pretty boring place with a small menu. The blood mary, was interesting and extremely sour. Requested spicy, but i couldnt tell. The vodka has to be watered down or they don't use any. Very different for a bloody mary. Don't bother trying. We had the chips & beer cheese. The beer cheese was delicious however the table felt it could have been warmer. Tortilla chips were fresh, thin and crispy. Onions rings were good. My suggestion, skip this place. If your going to do The Perch, go to Chandler. Better food menu too.

I stumbled upon this place kind of by accident. I was getting my oil changed at iconic and I walked across the street for a quick bite and a drink. I ended up sitting at the bar and ordering a Peach beer and the BLT. To be completely honest, my expectations were kind of low, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bread was toasted with cheese and the bacon was delish and the lettuce was crispy and the flavors were just really good. It was classic yet elevated and super filling. The French fries were crispy and coated nicely. The beer accompanied the meal well. On top of the food, the service was fantastic. The bartender Mallory was very hospitable and attentive. The was genuine and top of it, offering great suggestions and she was full of knowledge. It's rare when you find service that really is top notch in a setting like that. I was not looking for what I had found, but I definitely think this bar brings classic vibes with a friendly feel. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the food because like I said, I wasn't really expecting much, but I will definitely be back!

We've been to the Perch Brewery in Chandler (the one with birds) and it was decent enough. The Perch Brewery Gilbert opened and is almost walking distance so figured we would give it a shot. When we arrived there was one occupied table inside, 2 people at bar, and 3 tables outside (1 of them waiting for a check). Sign said to seat yourself so we sat outside.Took like 10min to be noticed. I literally told the wife that if they didn't recognize us in 1min then we would leave. And they came about 10 seconds before I stood up to leave. This type of waiting lasted the whole time we were there. If it wasn't for having to get the kids rounded up, packed up, and hauled back out then I would have just left.Food was alright. No kids menu and limited kid drinks.I don't think I'd bother going back.

The same people that own The Perch in Chandler opened this place in Gilbert! They only opened 3 weeks ago. They have updated and elevated the ambiance from the prior owners. You have to try the warm winter night.

If you've ever wanted to attend a loudish 90s revival rock concert inside the bird aviary at the zoo, while eating mediocre food, The Perch is the place for you. Unfortunately not really the place for us.It's kind of cute and unique atmosphere. The birds are LOUD so the music has to be LOUDER. We didn't see any indoor seating and weren't offered any, despite the coolish night. It was happy hour so a little off drinks and apps, thankfully. We ordered Perch rub wings and split the Perch burger, which they nicely split onto two plates with our own fries. We asked about the fries and the server said "well, they're kind of like Red Robin, if you like those." They were and what she said rang true. Perch burger was decent, although we asked for medium well and it was lots lighter than that. The wings were a disaster and we didn't finish them by half. Teeny tiny little things with almost no taste. Like Tom Hanks eating mini corn in Big. We mentioned to the server and she said they weren't the usual wings, that they didn't get their regular delivery. Maybe take them off the menu or mention that to start? Take them off our bill? Here's hoping all of the caged birds made it through the night. There's, er, stuff, falling from the trees above you. Maybe it's tough to determine what it is, there in the aviary? Probably there should be a sign: Must Love Birds To Eat Here.

Could be a great local place ... but they blast lousy music! No one under 40 is I. Here and they clearly don't understand their clientele!!!
