ONYX Ice Cream

Cool place! Right next to Mensho. Makes for a great post ramen dessert. Had the matcha + ube combo. Had the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor.Service was lackluster. Team behind the counter seemed to be done for the day or something.

This is just a beautiful place. I love how it's so elegantly decorated. The ice cream is phenomenal! My kiddo and I set out to try a new spot and tonight's special treat was ONYX ice cream! Since it was our first time there, we patiently waited for a parking spot in the front, but let it be known, the entrance is through the door facing the courtyard, so turn on Palo Verde and park in the back...lesson learned so I'm sharing it with you!We met the owner Jo. I complimented him on the place and he was happy to receive the compliment. He asked how I heard about it. Not sure if it's because I'm Yelp Elite, but the recommendation popped up for me! So thankful for the suggestion.Now to the ice cream...AH-MAZING!!! Jon explained the concept to us and how if the flavors are next to each other, that it's available as a swirl as well. Of course, we chose 2 flavors that paired so well together: coconut and ube! Based on other reviews, I decided to get the waffle cone toasted! Elevation!!!! Go and show some love to Jon and ONYX!

Must try if in the Biltmore area ! So yum ! Owner is really chill and nice ! Get your cone "torched " . You won't regret it !

This place has a piece of my heart. Not only do they have black waffle cones, they have unique ice cream flavors, and vibrant colors to match. @onyxicecream just opened in #Phoenix a couple of weeks ago. The inside of their shop has a really cool vibe with a faux living wall and various neon lighted decor. I ended up getting the saguaro flavor mixed with #ube. Both of the flavors were really good and tasty! The waffle cones are made fresh in the store and they do take a bit, especially if they run out, but it's worth it. The flavor is also rotate often and they have to go pints for sale as well. Go check them out and give them some #love .

Great new soft serve ice cream shop!!! This hiddde gem has the most unique flavors that are absolutely amazing!! Loved my non-dairy saquaro flavor!!!! So refreshing!!! Several flavors each day, with rotations each week. Definitely something for every taste!! Cool exotic black cones as well!!! Owner was on sight and so welcoming. A great vibe and a photo wall as well!!! Excited to try more flavors!!!! Can take pints home, too!!! A must try!!!!

Thai iced tea soft serve is so creamy and tastes just like a Thai iced tea! Yum! The flavors rotate frequently

We had just finished dinner at Mensho and decided to walk around the eatery/shopping area. We came upon ONYX. Such a cute little ice cream/coffee shop. They only have 4 flavors of fresh ice cream daily but more pints available in the refrigerator. Boo got the salt flavor and said it was some of best creamiest ice cream he ever had. He's a connoisseur of ice cream. They also have a vegan version. This is a MUST go! Such a treat and Jon, the owner knows how to make a great ice cream!

New ice cream place in uptown. John the owner was fantastic! Quality ice cream with unique flavors and creamy texture. My sister got the toasted marshmallow on her waffle cone which is a must! I tried the Ube and Onyx Coconut which paired nicely together, not too sweet. Unfortunately, they were out of the Thai Tea flavor because it was such a hit. I will be going back to check out the other flavors!!

They usually only have about four flavors on it one time, but let me tell you those flavors are amazing. The black cones are super crispy and I love the sea salt mixed with coconut! My favorite is probably the Ube mixed with coconut though. The black coconut is an awesome flavor and look profile.
