Oldie’s Ice Cream

Delicious generous servings of ice cream and nice staff. Pup friendly patio. I tried an Italian sub but wish I had gotten extra meat because the bread is so thick. The meatball sub looked good.

For my 500th review on Yelp, I wanted something sweet to celebrate this occasion! Oldies is a location I went years ago when it first opened (pre Covid), but haven't made my way back to try again as I am rarely in the Gold Canyon area. I'm so glad I suggested this to my cousin as a middle of the week sweet treat. This location is a retro style ice cream shop, which is super cute for a date night, treat for the kids, meet up with a friend, etc. We easily saw over five different groups walk in matching the varieties I just listed in the brief 30 minutes we were seated. Such affordable prices that I can see this being a hit when the 2nd location opens later this year closer to my house (Apache Junction). The service has been great each visit, and I love the environment of the location for a blast from the past experience!

What an absolutely lovely ice cream shop! Perfect for a nostalgic lift me up. From the decor to music to employee uniform, everything was on point. Blue bell ice cream is served here with lots of different flavor options. They also serve hot dog meal ($6.95) and have a bar for the toppings for a savory fix. This would be the perfect place to come with the kiddos to give them a taste of the Oldies or a cute date night stop! The gentleman helping us was so friendly and happy to assist with questions. I went with the oatmeal cream pie ice cream, 1 scoop which $3.29 if severed in a cup or cone! I was very impressed with the size of the 1 scoop. I hope to come back soon!

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon, while on our way home. Rainy day treat!Wife had a hot fudge sundae, thoroughly enjoyed . I indulged in a custom sundae, pistachio and berry crumble ice creams, with caramel topping and crushed peanuts.Wowzer, that was delicious. Employees friendly and competent. Talked to some nice snow bird folks while waiting in line. Prices are fair compared to others.Highly recommend this place, it's a great treat spot.

A relaxing place with oldies atmosphere to have a nice hotdogs and ice cream on a hot Arizona weather. Very nice and friendly staff serving with smiles.

MAKE THE TRIP!!The servers and staff are wonderful and patient when you want to sample a couple of flavors before choosing the BEST ice cream we've had in Arizona.Stepping into a retro 1950's soda fountain, it's fun nostalgia. It's immaculately clean with several tables, with a couple outside, or stools at the counter.The portions are much bigger than any comparable ice cream shop. You might want to start with one scoop, two spoons and a friend!

Great ice cream at a great price. Service is amazing as well. Cute shop with a old cream parlor feel.

We just love patronizing small business owners. The young adults that service you are very pleasant and polite. They offer a sandwich very similar to subway as far as meats, condiments and bread. Bonus --- they have ice cream!!!! The ice cream is delicious! I love the decor! We have frequented this establishment many times and have never been disappointed!

This is such a cute icecream shop located in gold canyon, wish this was closer to phoenix! the portions here are HUGE, both of these ice creams together was only $9.42. the employee was very kind and patient. the theme is so cool, there was old music playing from the jukebox so i thought it was very fitting

I love Oldies. Customer service and ice cream are excellent. The retro look is super sweet with the jukebox and the rest of the look is wonderful.
