Eh. It's forgettable. It will probably stay open due to a good location in a high traffic area but if I had to place this as far as Quality of açaí bowls.. I would rank this as a fast food variation. Yes this is all about convenience, the Açaí is a mixture of sugar water and fruit somewhere I think. Maybe? It was very sweet and overlapped the almost tart fruit like flavor of the açaí that we all know and love. The toppings are scare and small scoops for a $10-$13 bowl. Nothing really tasted or looked fresh. End of the day it's like getting ice cream at McDonalds.... You don't go there for a full "outing" but it will quiet the kiddos in the back seat just fine. Ok well a far more expensive solution. But same idea....

My son and I were doing some pre- Christmas holiday shopping at the Santan Village mall when I remembered that Oakberry was open. I have been wanting to try it for a while, I remember the sign teasing us before it was open. It looks brand new, super clean with clear branding & a nice decor. There were a few people sitting at the few tables they had. They have one table outside and I think about four tables inside with two chairs. They have a restroom available for customers, they have a very neat, immaculate menu that is straight to the point as it only offers açai bowls and smoothies. We chose to get an açaí bowl to share. All toppings come at no additional cost which I really liked. I added some collagen, cashews, granola, peanut butter, and bananas. It took about five minutes to come out. The açai base was a little too sweet for me. Also, I thought they were going to blend the collagen powder in, but instead it was layered and so when I stuck my spoon in, I ate a bunch of powder, they should definitely change that approach. Overall, I liked the experience, but I the bowl was not something I would come back for. The price was reasonable, I would come back and try a smoothie. The service was great, everyone was so kind and welcoming.
