Great food, service and crowd. I recommend visiting this place especially if you like playing pool.

My friend and I decided to grab some beer and wings after work around 3 PM. However, our experience was extremely disappointing. My friend, who is 28, has a vertically formatted ID, and the server refused to serve us based on that alone. We explained that we were fine just sitting at a table and ordering food instead, but she still refused to let us stay in the bar at all. We even offered to skip ordering any alcohol, yet she remained adamant and dismissive.The treatment we received was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, unlike anything we've ever experienced. Needless to say, we won't be returning, and we'll make sure to share this negative experience with others.

A fresh coat of paint, some new tables and same staff, same vibe! Bring back the dart boards, please!

Hubby & I had dinner here last night for the first time. The place is huge & clean. It seemed like a place that has their regulars go.You seat yourself & we were helped quickly. They don't have a drink menu. They told have sangria so I got a sex on the beach. They don't have peach vodka, so I couldn't get my second favorite, peach vodka & cranberry juice. My drink was good, but not like any Sex on the beach I've ever had. It was orange instead of pink, & it had a lot of orange juice in it. Hubby had a draft beer. He said it was really cold just like he likes.We ordered the breaded mushrooms. We love breaded mushrooms & can't get them very many places. They were good. I ordered the catch. It's 3 pieces of battered fish. It comes with fries & a small side of coleslaw. The fish was really good. It was crispy & not greasy. The fires weren't crispy like I like. I did not like the coleslaw at all. Hubby got the wings & a basket of fries. He loved the wings. They were crispy, but moist. They could have used more seasoning, but I even liked the one I tried. I am not a fan of bone in wings. It's a typical local bar with bar food.

Food is so good! Drinks are good, a TON of entertainment all around you, attentive service and plenty of room to move around. Great place! We've been in a few times and will keep coming.

So my wife and came here to watch the Suns game.We had never been before so when we first walked in, they were busy and every table seemed to be occupied, so we waited, and waited. No one greeted us but another customer at the bar bailed us out and showed us that there was a table available and that we were supposed to seat ourselves.We got their chips and salsa as an appetizer and I really enjoyed them. My wife got a wrap and I got the Mushroom Burger. The food was excellent and the environment was a lot of fun. Like I said earlier they were super busy but our waitress did a great job of being around in a timely manner.So overall this place is pretty awesome, so we will be back.

I used to be a regular at 1st Round Draft, so was excited when it was re-opening as Skip and Jan's. What altdown! It smelled like an ashtray, slow service, bad atmosphere, nothing was good. I met some friends last Friday for HH at Natalie's and was shocked at the transformation. Everything was orders of magnitude improved. Well done!

We picked the wrong day to try this place out. We sat at the bar and the bartender asked what we wanted to drink. We asked what was on happy hour and she said well drinks and draft beers. I asked if she had a list of beers and all she said was NO. My husband asked "so are we supposed to guess?" She responded with "Bud and the usuals" so we started naming a few. I asked for Guiness ... she came back a few minutes later to say they were out. I asked what ciders they had and got Angry Orchad. She got my hubby a beer and disappeared for a few minutes and came back with 3 in her hand, gave me 1 and placed the others in the cooler. Did I mention the AC wasn't working?! We decided to tough it out, have a few drinks and try the wings, with a side of onion rings. They were decent but definitely made it much hotter in here. Her attitude started out pretty bad but got a little better. Will I rush back? Probably not any time soon and sad to say this as it's a neighborhood bar and super close to home. Not sure why a bar / restaurant would be open when their AC is not working properly and it's currently 114° outside. I feel bad for the staff ... she is busting her ass but management should be offering a discount for it's customers. We had planned on hanging out for a while but just got a check because it is WAY too warm in here!

Decided to go after a long hike for some bar food and play a few rounds of pool. We had a blast. The food (all appetizers) were delicious and hit the spot for calorie reload. Madison was waiting on us and kept our glasses full and always helpful. Now I know that this is a "pool hall" and bar but some "patron" (I use that term loosely because what I really would like to call him is probably inappropriate) was outside about noon telling us he thinks they aren't open yet. Come to find out he was helping run the pool tournament and was just trying to keep outsiders out. We still went in and had fun doing our thing. If that "guy" reads this I hope he understands that he should grow up. Just because he is playing in a tournament doesn't mean others can't play on tables across the room

Love this place!!! Great food, drinks and pool! Decent pricing as well. Service it kinda hit or miss. My partner and I enjoy coming here to unwind. We would love to Karaoke sometime
