Murrieta's Carniceria

There's a deli in the back of the market, which was surprisingly clean.The food portion was huge and tasty. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was enough to be two meals.If you are craving some authentic Mexican food I would definitely try this place out.

my favorite carniceria for Mexican chips & candy from Mexico! they are pricey but worth it especially if you have a craving. clean store & friendly staff. have yet to try their chicharrones, plan to next time.

The carne....Was def good- we asked for it to be marinated and it was amazing.We paid about $15/lb, worth it.

In honor of my second yelp review it just had to be Murrieta's Carniceria! For people who don't know this place is a hidden gem for the best freaking tacos!!! I always and only get the carnitas with chicharron! I have them chop them both up and mix them. Everything about this taco is perfect! The tortillas are fresh and delicious. All the toppings and salsas they have are all my favorites! So many good salsas I have to put them all onto the taco. They have a dark salsa a red salsa a green salsa and guacamole salsa! Which all of them are so so good! Oh and the pico de gallo, wow! Especially with the cilantro and onion. When I'm on a diet I just get it in a bowl, lol. I love this place! 10/10

I highly recommend the carne asada and pollo asado tacos from this place. Consistent done-ness and flavor profile. There's also an area where you can grab taco toppings(pico, cabbage, limes, onions/cilantro, and other sauces). Also very reasonably priced.

For my money this is the best Carniceria in Phoenix. I'm sure there are some that are more done up and whitewashed but this place serves some quality meats. You can find good carne asada at just about any decent Carniceria in Phoenix, so what sets this place apart is their yellow or "big bird" chicken. It's the best anywhere. Whenever I buy it, people always end up eating the chicken before the carne asada. Other than that it's pretty standard in terms of offerings. Get the chicken.

The prices here a really cheap! I went to some Asian markets to get some short ribs to make Kalbi but gave that idea up because the ribs were so expensive and decided to grab some carne instead. I had been here before by my friend's suggestion so I swung by and to my surprise their short ribs were way cheaper than the Asian market prices with less bones cut in. Definitely will be my go to spot when I want to fire up the grill again.
