Mr Brews Taphouse

NE Mesa settles for mediocre. Mr Brew is new to the area and possibly there's hope it could turn out to be good or very good over time, but it's not there yet. 1 positive, they have a really good selection of beer. (This alone is what saved them from a 2 star review. It's also the only thing I'd go back for since they have Tank7 Farmhouse Ale on tap.) Everything else? Mediocre at best. The food is generic and not worth the spend. The interior layout and design is generic, kinda feeling like an adult version of Chucky Cheese. The service was slow, we had to ask 4 times for water. On a Saturday night with Texas playing Georgia, the turned it off in the 3rd quarter. Expect better Mesa. Dining out is expensive, the quality needs to be there.

They just took over the space by Basha's where a Mexican restaurant used to be. The place is huge, bright and clean with lots of televisions. They serve Untappd beer, about 50 rotating selections and some decent wine as well. Their menu is mostly bar food, along with healthy salads, veggie burger options and flatbread. We had great service and the place was hopping. Our little corner of NE Mesa really needed this.

We went back for my birthday yesterday for a couple of drinks. The price for a double crown and sprite was 20 dollars, way too high for a bar that's in a strip mall.

Eh! Food and service are sub-par. It wasn't busy and they couldn't keep up. Asked for crispy wings, they were gross and soft. It took over 20 minutes to get our check....my glass was empty. An odd environment with cheesy music.

Nice neighborhood bar and grill. Lively happy hour. Nice selection of beers and ciders on tap.

Nice addition to this area. A "five star" beer selection. Food is a star (or two) less. Service is either good or amazing depending on who's working. Not convinced that the "house made" chips actually showed up here as potatoes instead of in a frozen bag but whatever... Great vibe and atmosphere.

Service: Good Beers: Good Food: Burger was underwhelming, fries were ok, fried cauliflower was ok, but 10 bucks for a small portion of frozen product was not worth it.Overall, Mr. Brews is not bad and not that good. It's a place to drink a beer. I would not return for the food. JJ Madison's, lucky Lou's and the HUB are much better options considering what you get vs cost

Fish tacos & cheese curds delicious!!!Beers were great!!! Our waiter Adam was just terrific helpful and personable , made our time special !!!

We've been here twice since the opening, Gavin was our server both times. Tonight it was full and loud, staff working hard while still being welcoming. Beer offerings good, food also good; pretzels are addictive. We'll definitely be back, though maybe not on a Friday night, way too loud.
