Super cozy board game cafe with surprisingly delicious food. This place has it all - a restaurant area for more casual games, food, and drinks; an area for MTG and tournaments; a Warhammer/similar game area; and a game shop where you can purchase any game classic or new. The food at the restaurant is great - I recently had the Mac n Cheese with chorizo and it was incredible. The gnocchi was also good. You can borrow any of the board games to play while you eat and they have staff ready to explain the game and walk you through setting it up. The staff is super passionate and it makes it easy to get into the game quickly. The best part is you can get a 15% discount to purchase any game you played while here.

Mox Boarding Has has become my favorite board game place in Arizona! The staff is so friendly and super knowledgeable. Everyone is so helpful and just really fun to talk to. The food - some of the food is a bit on the pricier end, but our group loved all the food we got. The Hot Honey Chicken is a fried chicken sandwich and the chicken is juicy and soft. The potato dippers are a mix between a potato wedge and potato chip and it's really good. The Tavern Mac and Cheese was so creamy and flavorful. The Il Paradiso melts in your mouth! The Apple Cobbler Bread Pudding was not too sweet and just delicious and easy to share. They have board games you can check out for free. The library might be a bit smaller than some of the other board games places, but it's free to play as of right now! They also do a lot of events and have card games, roleplaying games miniatures and more! It's a fun place to hang out and check out new games.

Awesome place for game nights with family and friends! You can borrow games they have available or you can bring your own. Any games that you borrow and end up wanting to buy it will be 15% off There are tons of seating around the restaurant and the retail area. They have private rooms too which cost $20 per hour to rent out. Evan was so great at explaining a game we chose to play. He was so patient and came back a few times to check up on us to see if we had any questions! Thank you Evan! The food was good too. We got the green chili chorizo burger, hot honey chicken sandwich, and the apple cobbler bread pudding. We spent a good amount of time there and they constantly came into refill our waters. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this place for a board game night.

Amazing place to spend time and play board games with friends. there's large tables for bigger groups as well as booths. Food is great as well. The good:You can play games for hours!The store front provides game rentals for no cost! There's a discount if you end up buying it when you leaveLots of space! They refill water throughout our 4 hours there. Waiters and servers are very nice and encouraging. Gamemaster, Evan was so patient and explain the game we wanted to play throughly and came back around multiple times to help explain the game! Food and desert was pretty good, though it wasn't really my focus. The bad: not any major negatives as I really enjoyed my time here.

I love this place. The staff is super friendly and it's my favorite spot in town to play MTG. The food is yummy, although a little pricey, but the drinks are well priced. They are affiliated with card kingdom, so it's nice to be able to drop off my orders and have them shipped for free. They also have a great selection of MTG products, among other things ^^

Had a good experience here. Was able to get a private room & the boardgames we got were in decent shape. Waitress offered to pre-split an order I intended on sharing which was nice! The food itself was also good.

I was hesitant because I couldn't really catch the vibe but a friend went with me this past weekend. There are three areas to order food and get served at and they have board games behind the register to borrow while there. There are SO many games to browse in many different genre's. It's not like let's get trashed party games vibes but let's connect and have fun vibes. My friend and I had different meals and both were of good quality. Service was great, and I think this spot is worth checking out.

What a cool place this is! My friend rented a room for her bday so we had plenty of space for our stuff, games, food, and her bday pie. It was $20/hr for the room with a server and they were so attentive. We didn't have just one person helping us, it seemed like the whole staff was checking in to make sure we had what we needed. We only played a couple games since a lot of time was spent talking but they were fun games (hues & cues and trial by trolley). The drinks looked really tasty but I stuck with coke so I could focus on any game rules - the Good Karma had a creamy orange look and Siren's Song was kind of a blue spa water with a cute banana leaf twirled inside. I ordered the brown butter gnocchi with shrimp, it looked & smelled so good everyone wanted to try it. This place was a solid 10/10 for me. Great place to meet up with friends and play a couple card games or board games while enjoying some unique drinks and entrees.

This place is the best! Kit was great, Sarge was great, the food was awesome, and ambiance is not what I'd expect from a game/card venue... super nice and we'll be here a lot in the future. So glad we found this joint!!!!

Love this place! We went last week to look around and bought a game. We talked to two very nice guys whose names I didn't get. Today we went back and borrowed a game from the game library that we played outside while enjoying entrees the restaurant. Sarge and May each offered fun games suggestions, and May helped us set up and go through the first round of the crunchier option we opted to try out. Their game selection is crazy good, and they have lots of games we haven't seen anywhere else, despite us being board game aficionados and going to every store in the area.
