Mother Tucker's Tavern

This place was great for happy hour! We got an array of their appetizers, smash burger, wings, and hummus. Their drinks were strong and good. They had live music and it was classics and too hits which was very fun to sing along too. Our waitress was attentive and kind as she felt with our crazy selves.

I was looking for a hot chicken sandwich and found Mother Tucker's!Very cool vibe with neon everywhere!I was greeted by Brently at the bar. Cool dude!! He offered some great food suggestions.I started with the 3 crispy tacos. Ribeye tacos, Cheddar, & lettuce. They had a good crunch and flavor.For my meal I ordered the Mother Tucker's Chicken sandwich with tater tots. 1st - if a menu has tots on it, I'm ordering them. These might be top 3 tots. Super crunchy and whatever seasoning they put on them was . The chicken sandwich was good but not great.To be fair, I do eat a lot of Hot chicken so I'm a tough judge.It was pretty slow as I was there about 630, but I hear it gets crazy on the weekends and later!

Walked in at start of HH, oh , ok a few minutes b4 and was enthusiastically greeted by Brently at the bar who was full of enthusiasm and such a great, personable guy which is trait to behold in all bartenders to keep a business going in my books! Brently ( hope I'm not slaughter your name), was a real pleasure and we had a great time. Ambience: we were older and enjoyed the 'early' bird hours as was quiet and could hold a conversation w/bartenders, but we've been by on weekends or later weeknights and see it's a happening place!Fries and wings were delicious as was Miller Hi Life in a bag, courtesy of bartender! lol

I came here for happy hour, the place was quiet. Only a few people in the bar a few people on the patio. It took at least 10 minutes for somebody to even acknowledge that I was sitting at the bar before they brought a menu when I ordered my drink. The bartender asked me what type of bourbon I wanted. I asked her what bourbon they had and she said she didn't know it was her first day on the job. So I told her makers which she said that she knew they had she made an old-fashioned, which was actually very good for her first day on the job. But that was the last day even came over to check on me until the drink was empty. The bar was pretty empty for happy hour which was from 4 to 7 PM I believe I was there around 5:30 PM on a Friday the riot house down the street was hopping and had a pretty big party going on so it wasn't because of their lack of people. Whiskey Road next-door was also pretty busy.

Formerly known as Bevvy, (Evening Entertainment Group) Mother Tucker recently opened two weeks ago. Located in the heart of downtown Scottsdale, it's the perfect spot for starting your evening off right! From giant screens and surround sound to a live DJ and a wide selection of cocktails, draft/ bottled beers and food this is a good place to choose. This bars focal point seems to offer the ultimate viewing experience for sports fans & enthusiasts during the day. At night after 10PM Mother Tuckers "tables turn" in to a night club. The whole venue lights up with a more vibrant atmosphere and provides VIP bottle service too! We came in early for dinner, before the night life buzz begins. Our server was Olivia. She took our drink order just after we were seated. Currently, no beers on tap, as they're waiting on the draft set up but plenty of bottled beers. My husband got a Dos Equis, my sons got a Reese's Old Fashion & a Mothers Milk. I got a passionfruit lemonade. Standout was the Mothers Milk, literally tasted like a bowl of cereals milk, but in a cocktail form. Would be a wonderful night cap drink "for sure"! Started with the wings as an appetizer. We requested them with their Memphis dry rub and buffalo sauce. They were delicious! Huge wings and super tasty. For our main meal we got two Mother Clucker chicken sandwiches and a smash burger. Fries are additional ($6) so ordered two duck fat fries & one regular fry. Burger was ok. The chicken sandwiches were far superior. The slaw was better than the norm, it was a sweet oil & vinegar that was a uniquely delicious complement to the sammie. Generally, not a fan of steak fries, but had requested them extra crispy and they were a great addition. For $6 one basket would be plenty for two! We ended up taking home leftovers as they're a generous serving size.The atmosphere is a bit of a retro vibe inside. Lots of lights, logos and neon signs. Music is pretty loud. Would prefer it turned down during the day as hard to hear and have conversation.Staff were very nice. Busy bar with many bartenders & bar backs. Our server was attentive and very sweet. Food runner was working hard as well. A few large groups came in and tables were being put together to accommodate them. Security guards were present and friendly. Check out their Happy Hour: Monday - Friday: 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM. They also have live music. Roughly 5 food items from their regular menu are available at discounted prices too! *Note- Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday. Morning open to 2:00 PM.

Had a "stumble in" good time at MTT. A fun, hopping spot in Old Town... surprisingly good brunch and well made drinks. We had the burger and the burrito, yummy! Also the Duck Fat Fries... bartender was great and made fun cocktails, inc the one w burnt lavender. We will be back!

Really good food and service here! Perfect spot to watch the game on saturdays! There was a DJ that played between the commercials that kept the energy up throughout the venue.

Solid first time here yesterday w my friends. Food is good, especially the onion rings they are freaking bomb! Very friendly wait staff! Just expensive... like 10 dollars for fireball ball shots is wild. We had the hummus, duck fat fries, wings and onion rings all were good I'm not a big fan of fried wings, prefer grilled, but they were solid but like I said the onion rings were amazing lol. Would go back next time in old town

This bar had high expectations due to Bevvy being the best place on earth, however.... Its exceeded expectations due to the promiscuous photos in the bathroom and the wings. Sal, who I think may be the GM (if he's not he should be) truly cares about his customers and made the experience of covering my bets the best ever. Coming back for the Mongolian beef plate #seeyousoon

So this is a response to "Vinny" who responded to my review , first of all I ate the 3 crispy tacos because I ordered them and I have never sent food back, my review wasn't from the angle of complaining so much as to maybe they would take a look on how the tacos came out. Secondary I absolutely did not order the deep fried tacos after eating the 3 crispy tacos!! Really?? Why in the world would I do that ??? Just this review response from "Vinny" shows he has no ability to manage as he lied about what happened, sadly this place will fail with people like him in charge!
