Monkey Pants Bar & Grill

Monkey pants is my favorite bar to hangout. The staff are all AMAZING and the food is so good. Highly recommend this place for a good hang

The holiday decorations are 10/10. So many Christmas lights and decor, it feels like one of those places in a Hallmark movie. We went to this bar on a Saturday night around 10:30pm and it was very busy. Majority of the people there were 30-50 years old. They have karaoke which was fun to watch for a few songs, but it felt like the type of place you'd see in "The Office"... a place where you'd go out for drinks with coworkers if there's nothing else to do. It does seem pretty fun for some! Just not the vibe for young people.

The name itself intrigued me, and there were no disappointments when I showed up. Immediately there's lights EVERYWHERE and the place was packed, but lively and everyone was having fun. Karaoke was going on, and the singing got progressively worse as the night went on, which I loved. Seemed to be very popular amongst the younger crowd, and everyone was vibing. The service was a little slow, but I can't blame the bartenders for that because the place was packed and they were definitely doing their best. Even the security stepped in to help with drinks which was nice. The aesthetics and vibe of the place was like a very clean dive bar, it was comfortable but didn't feel like it was rundown. There's funny subtle decorations everywhere and so much to look at. I want to return on a leash busy night to get food and see how this place is during it's not peak hours, but I will absolutely be returning.

Awesome bar, karaoke, poker night on Tuesday, they got it all, great bartenders, cheap drinks. Great food too!!

Without giving any excuse other than, "I don't like your behavior", on Friday, November 22, just after 8:30p.m., I was not only denied service, but barred from ever entering the establishment again (I've been going on karaoke nights consistently for 6 years). When I pressed him about it, he chose to not to clarify. Since I'd never committed a crime and, as far as I knew, had a solid relationship with the employees, this was a bit of a shock. If I'd been given a chance to talk to the management, I might have been more inclined to accept that conclusion. Having a disability (I use a wheelchair), unless there's a bigger reason for me being denied entrance (theft, assaulting other customers, directly attacking the staff), what he did was basically illegal. You can't deny someone entrance simply because they make you uncomfortable or they do something like forget their wallet and have to go home to retrieve it, so they can pay their tab.

The food here is pretty solid bar food, def not healthy but what you'd expect. The service is usually solid. But my favorite is when they wrap everything in Christmas lights!!! It's so magical! And they do shirtless shots at 1am but it's funny because customers think it's gonna be a hot girl behind the bar taking off their shirt but it's usually like older not so handsome man lmao. Still fun though! They used to have goldfish races too, not sure if they still do.

I haven't been here in about a year. Today, I went for Wings The chicken was over fried and dried out. The order of fries was way over salted. I'm not impressed with this visit. I should have gone to a different place for lunch. Waitress was understanding and did not charge for the fries I didn't eat.

Over the years (pre-Covid and post-Covid), I have been to this location a handful of times. The staff is always friendly, and friends/co-workers often bring up this location when thinking of where to grab a drink/food for a night of karaoke or trivia. I've personally never tried anything but a drink, but pleasantly surprised they had some vegetarian options if I find myself wanting something. It's a comfortable atmosphere with a decent amount of seating. I'm sure I'll be back in the future!

Everything needs improvement. Slow service, food not hot, atmosphere is dark and creepy!
