This rating is for breakfast only. Busy AJ and East Mesa favorite located on the North side of Apache Trail.Parking is largely an unmarked dirt lot on the east side of the building with a few paved Handicap spaces. Atmosphere is dated country kitchen with a fair sized dining area with tables. Unfortunately this place is crazy busy for good reason so expect 30+ minutes waits during peak hours.Group and large parties can reserve the party room in the rear. This area is staffed separately including bar service which is where our Red Friday's group used to meet. Menu is breakfast, lunch and dinner with all day breakfast.My pick and their patrons favorite is the Biscuits and Gravy. An order is all I can eat. Service is friendly and I've never seen servers hustling like here.Despite a long wait in the main dining area my score is for service and excellent country breakfast!$$

Mickey D's is an Apache Junction institution. Known for their great service and awesome breakfast (and lunch) and they do not disappoint. The place is much larger than it appears from the street so even with a full parking lot they can accommodate. The decor is quaint, small town cafe as you would expect. Service is really exceptional. Plenty of staff to run the operation smoothly and efficiently and VERY friendly. Again, small town feel and refreshing. Lastly, the food. From omelettes to pancakes to biscuits and gravy it's all really good. And the prices are so reasonable. I had biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, hash browns, 4 pieces of bacon - all for $12.99. Unheard of bargain! Definitely recommend.

Great local restaurant with a great variety of delicious foods. Got the veggie omelet which it was huge! Kim and I shared one.The ambiance is South Western as expected and tastefully done.The serving staff were all awesome. Friendly and helpful and always checking in in the table for needs.Great place, highly recommend!

Love Mickey D's in AJ except for the long lines when winter residents are here. But even tho they are packed, the service is fast and their food is delicious. If you have to wait, it is well worth it. We have not tried the one in Mesa, but I'd venture a guess it's every bit as good as AJ.

I read that in the past, Micky Ds was a great place to eat breakfast, lunch or supper. We ate there Sunday afternoon with my husband's barbershop Chorus and the food was nasty, horrible!!! OMGOSH........I felt sick afterwards. I threw most of it away. The service was friendly and good, but the food was just GROSS !!! It's an old place, that apparently has some problems. No more for me!!!

I don't get the appeal of this place. The food is mediocre, it's loud, you have to wait outside to get seated. I have NO idea why the old people come here. Not cheap and very noisy. Parking is always packed.

OK, I'm a resident all year round resident of Apache Junction since 2008. I've been going to this restaurant ever since the other day my wife and I went out to have breakfast and we got in there. Everything was normal. We ordered a grilled cheese with french fries The grilled cheese had barely any cheese at all. They changed their french fries which were horrible compared to the other ones. My omelette was OK but then they went skimpy on the potatoes.then we notice that they raised the prices on everything over like $1.50 and we notice this because we have been since 2008. This is sad because this was my favorite restaurant. It was like a treat for me to go to this place And then now we probably won't go and unfortunately I know nothing's gonna be done because they've got captive audience when the snowbirds come out and they'll pay anything sad and an unfortunate news.

I had a great breakfast blueberry pancakes couple eggs, couple bacon Service was awesome. Pretty cool little place. I've been coming here just a little over a year. I try to get here at least once a week today the snowbirds must've been someplace else.

We love Mickey D's Cafe. This is our family go to place for breakfast once a week. My coworkers and I come here at least once a week for lunch as well. Ram, the owner is always walking around saying hi to his customers.Great food, great service, great atmosphere.The Millers.
